🚨 BREAKING RESEARCH NEWS: Phase III Clinical Trial Results Published in @HEP_Journal
AASLD is proud to announce the publication of positive Phase III results from the ELSPIRE trial in HEPATOLOGY, AASLD’s flagship journal.
The study evaluated elafibranor, a PPAR-α/δ agonist, as a second-line treatment for patients with Primary Biliary Cholangitis (PBC) who continue to experience elevated alkaline phosphatase ALP levels despite treatment with, or intolerance to, ursodeoxycholic acid.
These findings represent an important advancement in PBC research and underscore the continued pursuit of new therapeutic options for patients with unmet treatment needs.
