INTEL ON: Democrats win the Michigan Senate race in 2026
On Oct. 29, Decision Desk HQ posted an SSRS and CNN poll showing Democratic nominee Abdul El-Sayed ahead of Republican Mike Rogers in Michigan.
This matters because the poll tested the same general-election race named in the market, and it showed Abdul El-Sayed in front, which is a sign the Democrat is in position to win.
But a poll is only a snapshot, and this market will still depend on the Nov. 3 vote and then race calls by the Associated Press, Fox News and NBC.

These are behavioural signals read against Person A’s own baseline, not a determination of truth or deception.

Our investigators are observing never-seen-before laundering patterns with the stolen funds from the Binance exploit. Thousands of transactions in a short period suggest that the attackers are using automation to obscure the trail of funds. Rather than simply moving funds onward, they repeatedly circulate them among addresses, often sending funds back to addresses involved earlier in the sequence.

On Oct 30, Switzerland's government said Swiss President Karin Keller-Sutter met Xi Jinping in Beijing and called him president of China and general secretary of the Communist Party.
If Xi was publicly identified in that meeting as general secretary, that is direct evidence he had not been removed from that post by Oct 30.
What is still unclear is whether any credible report before Dec 31, 2026 later shows Xi resigned, was dismissed, was detained, or otherwise could not serve as general secretary.

INTEL ON: Benjamin Netanyahu is the next Prime Minister of Israel
On Oct 27, the BBC reported that Israeli exit polls showed no clear winner and that parties opposed to Netanyahu had a small lead after the election.
If parties opposed to Netanyahu stay ahead, they may be more able to form a government, which would make it harder for Netanyahu to be formally sworn in as prime minister.
Exit polls are not the final results, and coalition talks can still change who forms a government and takes the oath of office.

✅ A ceasefire did begin at 4:00am Moscow time on Oct. 27 — but context matters: reports describe it as a LIMITED humanitarian ceasefire around Oleshky/Kherson, not a full Russia‑Ukraine peace deal.
✅ Multiple reports also say the safe zone expanded beyond Oleshky to help humanitarian convoys move through.
🤔 The “moved up by 2 days” part is shakier. Aid delivery and civilian safety were definitely part of the reason for the ceasefire, but there’s no solid confirmation the schedule was officially accelerated from Oct. 29.
So the headline is partly right, but the scale is being overstated. This is more “humanitarian pause in one region” than “the war is over.”
