[RECAP] Namsan Hike with T1gers 🐯🔺
Before Seoul gets loud with KBW, we hiked Namsan and kicked off our own KBW journey with a clear mind, fresh air, and perfect weather.
3 hours on the trail meant 3 hours of real conversation with builders who'd flown in from all over the world, all the way up to a panoramic view of the entire Seoul skyline.
Huge thanks to our co-host @tiger_research_ for leading the way and knowing every good viewpoint on the mountain.

It’s been a week since I landed back in Australia after the @avax Summit.
Here’s a snapshot of one of the best curated events I’ve ever been to.
In 2025, I’d only been in the ecosystem 4 or so months when Summit came around. I was green, basically only knew the creators going and many community I’d met online.
My first Summit made a very strong lasting impression on me.
Fast forward to now, I’m deep in the community, have watched much of last years big announcements come to fruition, and have built strong relationships within the ecosystem.
This Summit cannot be compared to last - they both were INSANE in a good way.
Avalanche really sets a high standard when it comes to curating events that balances Institutions and community.
The panels, the guests, the announcements… I mean even the venue, in the middle of NYC they converted an entire space into an alpine lodge!
It was a whirlwind trip, I probably spent 1:3 of the time I had in NYC traveling there and back.
It’s important to give credit where it is due - some names in particular @JohnNahas84 @__arielle__ @vohvohh @0xcoolgirl for curating such an impactful event.
At risk of missing names I’m not going to mention more but those I spent time with you know who you are.
I appreciate you all so much!
Grateful to be a part of it and cannot wait for 2027.

Now that Helicon is live, validators can vote to raise or lower the minimum gas fee dynamically.
Eric has been researching the impact of higher gas prices, with benchmarks and value capture across blockchains, with his findings coming out soon.
This is an important capture mechanism we are looking at improving to align with the Foundation's goal of value capture.
Pricing blockspace correctly means more value flowing through the network rather than past it.

As we approach the release of tradable RWAs on @avax, The Arena is partnering up with @PharaohExchange to release our RWA launchpad!
We expect to have this live as soon as tokenized stocks and commodities are officially live on the chain.
Here’s what to expect:
- Pair tokens with any official RWA offered on Avalanche (no bridging RWAs from other chains)
- All graduated tokens will migrate to Pharaoh DEX for continued trading
- Improved bonding curve so tokens start with a higher marketcap, leading to better distribution and thicker liquidity
- Tax your token from 1-5% with rewards auto distributed to holders in the base token
- Creator fees and LP fees still included for projects to build treasuries and tokens to trade healthier at higher marketcaps
- Pair tokens with other ERC-20 tokens as well, including $ARENA and AVAX ecosystem memecoins
- New UI/UX improvements on The Arena Launchpad
- Arena Champions will be airdropped all bonded tokens as part of the Moats program

Avalanche's co-founder helped build a proof-of-work currency six years before Bitcoin...
Emin Gün Sirer (@el33th4xor) co-designed Karma at Cornell in 2003 with two of his students. His bios call it the first currency to mint coins through proof-of-work, though Wei Dai's 1998 b-money proposal sketched the idea earlier.
Karma aimed to stop freeloading on file-sharing networks by tracking what each user gave and took, long before Bitcoin introduced proof-of-work money.
In 2013, he and Ittay Eyal found a flaw in Bitcoin's mining rules. A group of miners could secretly hold back the blocks they found, then release them at the right moment to wipe out rivals' work. Even a minority of miners could earn more than they should. The attack is now known as "selfish mining".
He later co-founded @AvaLabs, the company behind Avalanche (@avax), and still runs it as CEO.

Two crowds are building in Thailand, and they rarely meet: the founders and nomads passing through Bangkok, Phuket, and Chiang Mai, and the local devs and students ready to ship.
We're building the community hub for Avalanche and to bring everybody together. Before launching as an official chapter, we were already on the ground building the foundation:
