Exactly a year ago today, we launched Starcloud-1 to space. To celebrate its birthday 🥳, we have put together some previously unseen footage we have from around the launch. I particularly like the footage we have of the @Starcloud_ kids! 😅👌
Starcloud-1 is operating today with the only @NVIDIA H100 in space, still the most powerful SI compute on orbit. With it we became the first entity to do training and high powered inference on orbit, and we now have 3 more launches coming up in the next year! We are planning to move almost all compute off Earth 🚀

Starcloud CEO Philip Johnston (@PhilipJohnston) wrote his marriage proposal on his own satellite.
She said yes.
“It actually just came over Cabo, which is where I proposed to my fiancée.”
“It only comes over there once every 3 days, so I waited till 6 AM & then showed her on the phone because I’d written the proposal on Starcloud-1.”
Most important launch of my life… she said yes!!!
I secretly wrote my proposal to @Xinyi_Tong1 on our first satellite and then showed her as it passed above us at sunrise in Mexico 😍😍🤓🤓🌹🌹🥰🥰😘😘🤗🤗💎💎🎊🎊💘💘💋💋😻😻

We built Stream MCP so you can move your context anywhere, and Universal Dictation so you can whisper with every app.
Stream is an extension of you thinking that connects to the tools you already use.
Hearing more people talk about @sandbar. Their marketing videos are on point.
But I’m not sure how it will fare as yet-another-personalized-ai-assistant in this crowded space.
Assuming it can deliver on battery life, the ring form factor is smart but the software experience (voice, memory, interaction) is what is critical.
Do we bet a non-frontier lab company can make this great at a competitive price point, that also has longevity?
