Good morning, AfroBase family ☀️
Yesterday reminded us of something: sometimes, showing up is the growth. 🥹🔥
With no prior announcement, no scheduled Space and no graphics, we still showed up and 30 people tuned in, 7 speakers contributed
and we spent over 2½ hours having a meaningful conversation. ❤️
From @defimanu3l reminding us to contribute to ecosystems and give sincere feedback, to @BobbiAndrea_ZM on chasing your personal dreams, @derahxchange on showing up even when nothing seems to be working, and @PLEASURETECH_ on trusting the process and believing in what you’re building…
One thing was clear:
Showing up in Web3 is more than posting Gm, being a reply guy or joining Spaces.
It’s learning.
It’s observing.
It’s being curious.
It’s trying again.
It’s contributing.
It’s building.
It’s having an actual onchain presence.
And most importantly, it’s staying in the game even when nobody is watching yet. 🔥
Thank you to everyone who joined, spoke, shared their experiences and made the conversation what it was.
May we never be so busy in Web3 that we forget to actually GROW in Web3. 🥹🙏🏾
New week, new opportunities.
Keep showing up. Your time will come. 💪
AfroBase is back. 🔥

Welcome back, mama 🥳
September was a month of finding my rhythm again. 🥹
NYSC took most of my attention, then I came back to a new chapter: adapting to a 9–5 at my PPA while building, learning and figuring things out.
But one thing remained constant: @AfroBase__ 👌
We held 2 Spaces and I’m grateful to everyone who kept showing up.
Thank you, September. ❤️
October, I’m fully back to Web3. 🫡🔥
September has been a month of returning.
We’ve held 2 Spaces, reconnected with our community and reminded ourselves why AfroBase exists.
As the Yoruba proverb says:
“Aguntan tó bá ta dí méyìn, agbára ló ń lò mú wá.” 🐏🔥
Sometimes, you take a step back only to return with greater strength.
We’re not leaving anytime soon.
October, we intensify the fire. 🔥
AfroBase is BACK.

“You have to find the space before you can find your place.” 🧭
One of yesterday’s biggest takeaways from the AfroBase Space.
Sometimes, finding your place in Web3 starts with finding the right space, people and community to grow with.
Big thanks to everyone who joined our Space last night. ❤️
Looking forward to seeing you again next Sunday, 8PM prompt. 🔥
AfroBase is back. 🔥
