We are fighting back against Danielle Smith's attempts to rig the next election.
Voters must pick their politicians. The UCP has no right to pick their voters.
A truly shameful moment in Alberta history today, as UCP MLAs voted to proceed with gerrymandered election maps.
Alberta NDP MLAs voted to reject Danielle Smith's plan to cheat to win.
If and when these maps are approved by legislation, we will fight for Albertans.
Voters should pick their politicians. Politicians have no right to pick their voters.
The UCP-appointees to the UCP's boundary panel have donated thousands of dollars to the UCP and other conservative parties.
Former Conservative MP Monte Solberg has donated $2,883 this year, including money donated while he sat on Danielle Smith's election map panel.
This whole process is deeply disrespectful to Albertans. We all deserve fair elections and maps that are created by a truly independent process, with public consultation.

We're building incredible momentum, and attracting amazing candidates, because we're offering Albertans a good and honest government that we can all be proud of.
Albertans are clear what they expect from their government: affordability, good jobs and strong public services for everyone. The Alberta NDP will be that government.

This is quite the article...Danielle Smith says she wants a Donald Trump/Elon Musk program to fire Albertans.
"If the premier has a political tin ear bad enough to think comparing her cost-cutting plan to DOGE is a good idea, can we really rule out a made-in-Alberta ICE if she thinks that will appeal to her hardcore base?"

Following massive UCP property tax hikes, Danielle Smith announced Friday she's giving back a few peanuts.
It's still a bad deal. Albertans are not falling for this, premier!

The UCP’s attempt to rig the next election is now public for all to see.
Their map carves Lethbridge into four ridings and wildly expands Calgary ridings beyond city boundaries, watering down the voices and votes of Albertans.
These maps aren't good for rural or urban Albertans. They're only good for Danielle Smith and her desperate quest to cling to power.
Surprise, surprise… MLA Jason Stephan and his UCP pals all voted together.
The motion they voted down? To reject Alberta separation and affirm that we are proud Canadians.
The referendum is over, but separatists are still thriving within the UCP. Danielle Smith didn’t even bother to show up for the vote.

Wow... Danielle Smith admits the UCP isn't actually listening to Albertans. We’ve been saying this for years.
Oh! Did things JUST start getting expensive last week? I'm so glad they have their finger on the pulse.
With the referendum in the rear view mirror, it’s time to focus on affordability, public safety and the economy.
Today’s property tax reduction and freeze is just the start of much more to come.
Of course Nenshi and his gang will want to continue to talk tinfoil hat conspiracy theories and US-style election denialism
Guess we will see how Albertans react to those 2 competing visions.
Pancholi said the issue was brought forward by Alberta NDP MLA Marlin Schmidt after an incident occurred at a childcare facility in his constituency where there were allegations of sexual abuse.
“Despite at the time the Minister of Education and Childcare dismissing the concerns, we are pleased that he finally took the safety of children and notification to their parents seriously, and has made these changes,” Pancholi said.

The UCP doesn’t want Albertans to see their new electoral maps. Why? Maybe it’s because they don’t want everyone to know they're desperately trying to rig the next election by gerrymandering your riding.
Opposition NDP Service Alberta critic Gurinder Brar said he's glad to see many of the bill's proposals. But he criticized the United Conservative Party government for voting down a similar private member's bill that the NDP earlier tried to bring forward on ticket reselling.
"Do a better job and help Albertans save more money," he said.
