OK, @synchrony really doesn't want 2 talk 2 customers whose credit cards they service, & they don't want to upgrade email servers to actually reach us - instead charge each acct $1.99/mo for paper. We GET your emails fools, but way to silo out cust. complaints #canceltime
Day 1 @RootsTechConf happens on Leap Day, and in that spirit I'll gladly share some songs & stories from #TreasuresinMyChest (my ancestors hijacked my #singersongwriter career til I finished an album & book!). Please join me, 8pm EST youtube.com/live/t-cFd-YEZzE #familyhistory #DNA
While I'm getting ready for my #livestream concert - on Leap Night! - I thought I better post on Twitter. Then I realized that while I am here every day, literally no one has even seen my last few concert posts. Shoving it out into the ether anyway, youtube.com/live/t-cFd-YEZzE
I read here daily but don't post often. If you enjoy my music, thanks for helping spread the word about the next livestream concert (Europe-friendly time!) Sun. 2/4 at 3pm EST, youtube.com/live/FN5iXNN4cmQ Songs from my albums, a few surprises, and joy of connecting with you live ❤️
I have a few words about my visit to Gettysburg Sunday; right around the 160th anniversary of both the Gettysburg Address and the birth of our modern Thanksgiving. If you’re so inclined for a quick read, I’d be honored. andrewmcknight.net/blog/blog…
Just some holiday truth. You are special, and I'm grateful you're here. Happy Thanksgiving! May it find you safe, warm, well-fed and with people who love you to the ends of their being.
This sums up the state of the “music industry” 😢
This Sunday - a matinee here in America, and prime time for family and friends across the Atlantic. I'd love to sing for you, and learn how to say Hello and Welcome in as many different European languages as I can! youtube.com/live/-hVjdHvO9gY
Come on over tonight! These are crazy times and music is soul medicine. I promise an enjoyable show from my home to yours. 8pm Eastern, 5pm Pacific youtube.com/live/uwV5JyeRcHo and Europe friends- next show is prime time over there!
Please join me tonight at 8pm Eastern with your favorite beverages & goodies at youtube.com/live/g6YOsgz6kV8

Opinion by T Bone Burnett and Jonathan Taplin: The problem is not just the immiseration of artists’ incomes. It’s also the ingesting of mountains of artistic content and then reconstituting it as faux original work. wapo.st/3JAinIT
Woohoo and thank you @IndiesWithMarky!
Good morning world - hit Marky's radio show wherever in this big old world you are! We are honored and thrilled to be part of this week's show with so much great independently-produced music. Thank you @IndiesWithMarky!

We've been hard at work in the video studio wrapping up production on #RockTimeInYourTown, our mini-rockumentary featuring rescued footage from our final show in 1987. The trailer video is out now at youtu.be/9KDE09HX5XA
Definitely a different musical side of me than those who know my work as a singer/songwriter 😉🤘
We've been hard at work at this very cool & unique opportunity to share our story in a mini rockumentary. Here's a one minute teaser for the curious! #RockTimeInYourTown #HardRock #80sMetal #Guitar youtu.be/lHbUT5VejGQ
Mighty sad about it, but as long as I keep the splint on and do nothing stupid, should be able to pick up with my April tour schedule ok. Meanwhile, be careful with your fingers, friends! Grateful I can play some bottleneck & lap slide to keep from going completely off the rails.
I ruptured the tendons in my left middle finger last weekend. The "money makers" are on the injured list 6-8 weeks, thankfully with full recovery expected. If you were planning to join me for my livestream tonight, my apologies - I sure do wish I could! Back at it in April.
So. Much. This.
The people you see onstage at the Grammys can make it work. But for a lot of singers and songwriters, streaming has made a full-time music career unsustainable. wapo.st/3JYpk7p
