We need to rethink work, says @thegoodtomchi. We need to think of it not just as something machines can do but as something that humans are uniquely suited for. Creativity, problem-solving, empathy, collaboration—these are qualities that machines can’t replicate. #climatecapital

We are in a 300-year blip of repetitive labor, an anomaly in human history, write @thegoodtomchi. Before the rise of mechanization, work was primarily non-repetitive. Whether it was farming or carpentry, there was variety, creativity, and application of skill. #climatecapital

Europe needs more safe, reliable, clean baseload power...and Stellaria is really well-positioned to deliver that, being the first in its category in France to submit an application for a nuclear construction license, on the back of an Equinix power purchase agreement.

"Breakthrough science doesn't always mean impact. Nor is even bringing that technology from the lab to the market. It's taking that technology that might be in the market, but at a small scale... and scale it, massively." - Laurie Menound on the @scientista podcast

We are experience not one crisis, but a convergence of multiple, deeply interconnected ones. Climate change, AI disruption, and economic instability are all symptoms of a wider spread volatility. #climatecapital

We are pleased to see the continued growth of Mojave, closing its $19M Series B to scale production of its ArctiDry platform. Their patented liquid desiccant technology results in 30% to 60% lower energy use than standard HVAC and payback under 18 months.

Our first #NYCW event featured real, honest talk about what it takes to innovate the grid properly, from capital to commercialization of the many technologies required. With Capricorn Investment Group, Zanskar and NYSERDA.

It's completely normal to walk into situations focused on what one wants to accomplish or the point one is trying to make, says @thegoodtomchi. But leading with personal goals crowds out the space needed to truly listen and absorb another person's perspective.
