We’re proud to announce that @SafeLabs_ whose technology powers 60M+ crypto wallet accounts, is using Sentry for Web3 security training 💜 Our modules cover phishing, wallet drainers, and malicious approvals. Teams can test their understanding with quizzes, earn completion certificates, and keep timestamped training records for SOC 2 evidence. Bring the same training to your team: sentry.auditware.io 🔐

Was Binance's Devops engineer was running EDR software (like Crowdstrike or SentinelOne)? My guess is no. Very few in crypto do :-/

Getting a payment approved can still leave an important question unanswered: did the request actually come from your teammate? In this workshop clip, we talk through an impersonation attempt where the approval process carried the attacker’s request forward. Confirming the amount, recipient and purpose directly with the requester through a known contact channel would have helped catch it. That’s why we like working through real scenarios in our OpSec workshops. They give teams a chance to discuss how they’d handle these situations before an urgent message lands! Bring the conversation back to your own team 🫡 The slides are free to view and share: auditware.io/opsec-training#…

Small tip on avoiding cyber blocks on Fable/Mythos 👇 > The guardrail is way more sensitive at the first couple of prompts > If your repo is auto-flagged on "hello", start a session outside the repo > Start with a UI request rather than a cyber task > Gradually have the UI be filled with the actual task, but the UI testing being the driving force (this sometimes actually works)

Founders and security leads, you’ve got better things to do than chase training certificates through Slack 🙂‍↕️ That’s why we’ve connected Sentry, our platform for Web3 security training, to Vanta! Your team can work through phishing, wallet drainers and malicious approvals while their completion records stay updated automatically in your SOC 2 workflow. See the connection in action 👇 sentry.auditware.io

Playing around with @HopscotchAI for a cheaper OpenRouter (model router) alternative to access uncensored models (a must today for any security reseracher) Reasons I'm looking for an alternative: - OR has hidden defaults like "Allow free endpoints that train on request data" which annoy me - The routing fee is wild, unless you switch to price-sort, which in return sends your prompts to the entire world - Going to a direct provider (e.g. digital ocean) may be predicted, but again not ideal routing fee @HopscotchAI wins I found so far: - beautiful fine-grained controls over daily caps - 1 click zero data retention guardrails and data leakage blockers - Chaining providers (!!) - instead of relying on "cheap" as a decision chain, you can create an ordered provider preferences to have complete control on where your data is going I use hermes as a harness to plug to this, you can set it up in anthropic if you enable developer tools but hermes is more native to that kind of work

We just open-sourced what everywhere else (at the time of posting this) is a paid subscription. Even in the age of AI, we choose open source 🤍 github.com/Auditware/k8-labs
As of today, anyone can host a @kubernetesio attack/defense lab in under 10 minutes, with an agent and a few bucks. - Built by auditors who break clusters for a living - Guided CTF courses + a live attack-surface map for every lab - Kernel-exploitation sandboxes (KASAN + KCOV) for the deep end - Live eBPF/Tetragon detection - watch the kernel catch your own exploit - Every session is a throwaway cluster inside a Kata/Firecracker microVM (users can escape the cluster, not the real underlying host) - Self-host on one Hetzner box, full Terraform + docs included - A live instance ran a month-long bug bounty (with rewards) - no one escaped to the underlying host Even in the age of AI, we choose open source 🤍 github.com/Auditware/k8-labs
There's a new version of this post

We loved talking OpSec with everyone who joined! We were glad to have @areta_io along as our special guest 💜 In this clip, we discuss how fake job interviews can put work accounts and personal wallets at risk, and why separating dev work from wallet activity matters. These workshops are our way of sharing free resources with the community and giving teams time to ask questions about their own setup. We hope you find something useful to bring back to your team! The slides are free for anyone to browse and share: auditware.io/opsec-training#… 🤓

I got to play the bug triager side for once, here are my thoughts Spoiler alert: this bounty program we hosted is now over, with no one managing to break the boundary and compromise the underlying hetzner box. 1. Not a single competitor hid the fact they used AI completely 2. I've seen the difference between competitors that are silently working with sending agents cleverly and with dedication, and ones that just let the AI submit whatever. Only 2 talented individuals studied the surface enough to realize they can request labs that are otherwise turned off, that will definitely open more grounds for their testing 3. Most submissions sounded like the bug worked, pocs looked like a total win, but upon replication were actually not even the scope requested, and severities unnecessarily exaggerated. this point is what makes triage fail nowadays IMO as this is frustrating to try to justify AI hallucinations all day 4. $1,000 is not a large bounty, I engaged with competitors that had spent $100 on tokens just for the competition, yet gained nothing - AI bug bounty has become like gambling in a sense. 5. If you take a security researcher, and let it vibe-code a dangerous app (e.g. ones that lets any user from the internet run as a root in a cluster you host for them) - with enough dedication can still produce highly resilient app architectures that stand against hacks (at least for how much $1,000 bounty proves). 6. Open sourcing an app you are also hosting is the scariest thing right now, threat-wise Fun experiment, we might open source this thing! (that would definitely help the agents go further)
Auditware's Bug Bounty Program is LIVE. We break other people's systems for a living, so for our first bug bounty program we're not hiding behind privilege. Every hunter gets root in the labs over at k8.auditware.io by design, but we want to see if you can break out entirely to our outer infra. The ~$1,000 pot (in ETH) sits behind the one wall we're most sure holds: escape your lab session's microVM. The program is officially published in this post - which means that if you're seeing this, you're not contesting against the full bug bounty world, but only against our followers and X reach. This doesn't mean it will be easy though, as four layers of defense-in-depth are between you and the money: 1. Own the k3s API inside the runner (part of the labs) 2. Break from Container → guest kernel 3. Break from Guest kernel → ? 4. Reach the outer AX41 host Rules are simple - read the full brief below. Safe harbor if you play in good faith. Submit via DM to our founders @joe_vanloon and @forefy (telegram forefy_t) --- Ensure to register as an active bug bounty hunter by replying something to this post -- Who's taking this box apart ⁉️ k8.auditware.io
