🚨 BANK OF JAPAN DECISION TODAY 🇯🇵 The BoJ decides on rates today. A hold is expected, so the details are what matter. 📌 WHAT’S EXPECTED
- A hold at 1.25%, a 31-year high
- A December hike is about 80% priced 🔍 WHAT TO WATCH
- The Outlook Report: it may say underlying inflation has reached 2%
- Ueda’s press conference: any hint about December
- The vote: two members dissented in September (7-2)

Governor Ueda said in September that underlying inflation is more or less reaching 2% and that the BoJ stays on guard to raise rates further. Today we see if he says it’s done.   A “hawkish hold” means rates unchanged, with a signal that more hikes are coming. The yen is a major funding currency, so the wording can ripple into USD/JPY, global yields and risk assets ( $BTC $QQQ $SPY).

🚨 HYPERLIQUID X ICE 🚨 You’ve seen the news. NYSE’s parent, ICE, is partnering with trade[XYZ] to bring Hyperliquid-based perpetual futures to the regulated US market, and $HYPE jumped about 8.5%. Here’s the full breakdown and why the attention is shifting to BNB: THE DEAL
- ICE and trade[XYZ] plan a new US perpetual futures market built on Hyperliquid’s infrastructure
- It comes with independent clearing, KYC and anti-money-laundering systems
- ICE takes an equity stake in trade[XYZ]
- Planned products: stocks, equity indices, commodities and FX
- It still needs regulatory approval WHY IT’S BIG
- trade[XYZ] says its Hyperliquid markets have done over $650B in volume in just over a year
