The year is 1956. Your mother is expecting you, and her doctor smokes through the appointment. More doctors smoke Camels than any other brand, the adverts say, and he tells her a few a day will settle her nerves and keep the baby small for an easy birth. The year is 1960. Your first proper shoes come from a shop with an X-ray machine in the corner. You slide your feet into the slot and watch your own toe bones wriggle, green and glowing, while the assistant checks the fit. You go back every time your feet grow. The year is 1961. Your mother is expecting your sister and the sickness is bad. The chemist has a new tablet, advertised as completely safe in pregnancy. Your sister arrives the next year alongside 10,000 other babies whose mothers took it, and some of them arrive without arms. The year is 1964. Three sore throats, so the tonsils come out, as they do for over a million children a year on both sides of the Atlantic. Twenty beds, and the promise of ice cream. Nobody asks what the tonsils were for. They were the immune system, and the operation never did much for the throats. The year is 1972. You are sixteen and every car on earth runs on leaded petrol. The lead comes out of the exhaust and settles on the playground, the vegetable patch and the blood of every child walking to school. The men who put it in the petrol knew what it did to a brain in the 1920s. The ban arrives in your forties. The year is 1981. Your mother's hands have gone stiff. The doctor has a new arthritis tablet with the biggest launch the drug industry has ever mounted. Two years later it is pulled on both sides of the Atlantic, with dozens of pensioners dead whose kidneys could not clear it. She gets off lightly: the sun burns her on it, and she spends a summer behind the curtains. The year is 1991. Your father is diabetic, and the dietitian hands him a sheet. More than half his calories are to come from carbohydrate: bread, potatoes, pasta, cereal. His sugar goes up on it, so his insulin goes up with it, and his waist follows. He does as he is told for twenty years. The year is 1998. Your back has gone. The doctor has a new opioid, and the rep carries a letter from a medical journal saying addiction on it is under 1%. The letter is five sentences long. The company pleads guilty twice, and by the second time more than half a million Americans are dead. The year is 2002. Your knees hurt, and the doctor has a new pill that is kinder on the stomach. You take it for two years, the same two years the maker is sitting on its own heart data. It is withdrawn with as many as 140,000 heart attacks laid at its door. Your heart was fine. The man next door's was not. The year is 2008. Your wife has a prolapse after three children, and the surgeon fits a strip of plastic mesh. Once the tissue grows through it, it cannot come out. Australia apologises to its women in 2018, America bans it in 2019, Britain apologises in 2020. Your wife gets hers by press release. The year is 2026. You are seventy, and the new doctor has a screen and a number for everything. The meat on your plate is a hazard. The oil in the bottle is good for your heart. The injection is for life. He is the age the first doctor was when he lit a Camel in front of your mother, and every bit as sure. Not one of them was a rogue. Every one was the standard of care, taught to the next doctor, printed on the leaflet, and handed to a family with no way to check it. You have spent seventy years as the experiment. The results come out after you are gone, under somebody else's name, and the chair you are sitting in is where they recruit for the next one.

Jews do not need protection. Jews are not a special class of humans. Zionists are whipping up hysteria to distract from Israel's genocide of Palestinians and their own destruction of Canadians' civil liberties here.

Haley Stevens: "I have stood with the Jewish community when it was easy and when it was hard, and I am not going to stop now." Me: 60% of Jewish voters in Michigan voted for El Sayed. What she calls "the Jewish community" doesn't exist. It is a concept used to manipulate us. We fiercely disagree and oppose each other. That's not a community. But that's how it is. Haley Stevens and others like her are obsessed with fantasy Jews and don't see the real ones all around them, such as former U.S. Rep. Andy Levin who she took millions in AIPAC money to kick out of Congress.

For anyone confused, here's a sketch about it
kinda reminds me of how if you think about it for more than two seconds you realize that the entire economic system we live in was built around slavery and has been scrambling for slavery-replacement for like 150 years

Working with a young woman who called me in tears. She states that an officer with the @edmontonpolice, without stating she was detained or under arrest, grabbed her and shoved his hand into her front sweatpants and "searched for contraband," as his fingers went all around her... Enough said. Obviously, we're going to be filing a formal complaint. #MyMorning.

The evils of King Leopold in the Congo must not be erased from history. That genocide happened before Hitler. It must be taught in schools the same way the Holocaust. Anti-Blackness & anti-Black racism must be named & addressed.
The fact that European government have managed to convince their citizens that the official abolition of slavery in their countries in Britain, France, Belgium in the mid 19th century meant the end of the practice is precisely why we need reparations. Reparation starts with reinstating the truth and correcting history. Slavery didn’t end following the 1833 Act in Britain of the April 1848 Act in France that officially abolished it. It was rebranded as “forced labor” and redeployed intensely in the newly conquered territories in Africa. The official dates of the abolition of slavery only applied to their colonies in the Americas and the West Indies where they were mostly kicked out through liberation wars that led to the independence of those nations. But slavery continued in their African colonies. Calling it “colonialism” allows people to recite abolition dates as though Africans were no longer being forced to work for European for free and had their hands butchered, their rulers beheaded when they refused to. This continued over a century.

I support the decision of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawake to withdraw from AFN and its affiliated bodies. There is ample evidence that shows AFN is a tool of the Carney government & is helping to implement the federal Termination Agenda! kahnawake.com/ratitsenhaienh…

Vancouver City Councillor Solomon Yi-Kieran says their top transit priorities are those that are “within the city’s jurisdiction” and will have immediate benefits for residents: “That looks like making sure we have a covered bench at every single bus stop … [and] expanding bus lanes.”

The existence of secret Ukrainian torture prisons was even reported by the Times of London in 2016 Zelensky is presiding over an archipelago of gulags for working class men seeking to escape NATO's meat-grinder
Videos show that Ukrainian deserters were illegally imprisoned & tortured in secret prison of neo-Nazi-led Azov corps of National Guard of Ukraine near Kyiv. Several prisoners were reportedly killed. Azov is glorified & whitewashed by Umland, Shekhovtsov & Western media & politicians. Relatives of imprisoned attempted to storm prison.

Outgoing Mayor’s Chief of Staff Lands Job at VPD City Coun. Lucy Maloney, one of three incumbent councillors re-elected to council in last month’s municipal election, told The Tyee she was surprised by Ford’s hiring given the former ABC-dominated council’s close relationship with the police department. “I think the optics of the VPD receiving a very large amount of funding from the city council while Trevor Ford had so much influence, and then Trevor Ford being given a job, I think that it’s troublesome. thetyee.ca/News/2026/11/03/O…

I’ve never seen the kind of insubordination from a Sr bureaucrat to an elected official like I did tonight at the VSB ceremony by the Sec Treasurer. At issue: electing the chair & vice chair. In comparison, the Parks GM followed procedure with chair & vice chair elected no prob.

She stormed out mid-conversation with a trustee! I’m still in shock. Bravo to Suzie Mah for holding firm & ensuring that procedure was followed. After taking an hour recess to accomplish what the Parks GM did in 5 mins, the meeting proceeded and Suzie Mah was elected Chair 🥳
