In the Cooper Ouellette trial, there is a proffer (no jury present) happening with one of Sophie Ringquist's friends. The judge is not allowing us to broadcast. He will determine from this proffer what, if anything, she'll be allowed to testify to. This friend is saying Sophie was upset that night; Cooper and Sophie were arguing, Cooper tried to grab Sophie's phone. Says Sophie was frustrated.

The D.A. Will not commit to retry Lindsay Clancy. I understand they’re strategically waiting on some rulings and they’re probably discussing whether it’ll be lesser charges, etc. But if you’re passionate about this case, go on the record saying you are going to retry it.

Sophie Ringquist's BAC at the time of autopsy was 0.151. Reminder: the state says Cooper Ouelette intentionally ran Sophie over. The defense says Sophie fell out of the truck before Cooper could get it fully stopped and they are disputing the fact if Sophie was run over at all.
