At last week's P-CAP Academy, school teams spent the day exploring what it takes to build stronger connections between high school, careers, and postsecondary opportunities through the Pathways to Careers and Postsecondary (P-CAP) framework.
Teams dove into relationship-centered learning, integrated hands-on curriculum, career and postsecondary pathways, and collaboration with industry and postsecondary partners. They also heard from P-CAP mentor schools and practitioners and had time to begin thinking about what a locally designed P-CAP program could look like for their students and community.
P-CAP gives schools a framework to connect learning to real-world experiences and future pathways while designing a program around the needs of their students and community.
Interested in exploring what P-CAP could look like at your school? Learn more at cell.uindy.edu/pcap
