Have really tried to improve my survivor optimizer tool. Have added a ton of new features which includes backup options which can effect season path. Also a feature that allows a path without week 18 since there's such a lack of motivation potential if you want to see. Also your path shows up clearly on the season grid and tms already taken are gray'd out. Just visually easy to follow. An example illustration clevanalytics.com/survivor-o…
No excuses this week for whomever plays QB for the Browns. They rank dead last in havoc allowed on offense but the Saints are 30th in havoc defensively. This will be the first game all season the Browns will face a defense worse than 20th in havoc generated.
Saints 2nd lowest defensive stuff rate vs the run (% of runs 0 or negative yards) and only the Jets (9th lowest) on the Browns schedule ranks better than 18th. The LOS is the most favorable a Browns QB has seen all year by a mile
Fagnano trying to plant in rain with a block of ice on his foot is going to be must watch tv
🏈☔️ Hrmm… this thin band of rain sure looks like it’s pointed right at BAL. I’m increasing my expected rain and impacts here.
@juice_reel shows no difference between good and bad bettors on the Under, but I’m mildly interested in giving it a stab based on latest radar.
We got the Cleveland bowl Sunday with GB/NE with Vrabel, McDaniels and Gannon. Totally forgot too that McDaniels initially hired Gannon as his DB coach when he took the Colts job and then backed out. The two coordinators will know each other well which should make things interesting
If you want to see how teams have performed purely from a team scoring and defensive scoring perspectives, I also added how their opponents performed in all other games to see what kind of strength of opponents each is facing.
-Bengals and Bears offenses performing v well considering who they've faced
-Giants offense has faced the single easiest scoring schedule in the NFL
-Defensively, the Pats and Packers have performed v well considering opponent
-Raiders yikes, GL vs Purdy and Shanny this week

I don't always make room in the Thursday Quadbox for the post-grad football league, but this? This is a special occasion

The Packers defense has been one of the pleasant surprises of the season so far
@tejfbanalytics and I took a look at Jonathan Gannon's transformation, discussed the increase of GB's disguise up front and on the back end, and showed some extra appreciation for Evan Williams
Jacoby Brissett deal has to be coming. It makes the most sense for both sides and he’s decent enough to keep a good team afloat for 6 weeks
