Turned my Govee wall lights into a live network speed display. Upload one side, download the other. Watch it react in real time.

Four servers. One KVM. One PoE cable. GL.iNet's Comet X might just clean up your rack. Sponsored by GL.iNet. #homelab

Project NOMAD is coming to Mac. Meanwhile: one KVM, one IP address, and every server in the rack from a single browser tab. Sponsored by GL.iNet. #homelab #kvm

Rebooted a remote server and got straight into BIOS without ever leaving my desk. KVM over IP is a game changer. Sponsored by GL.iNet. #homelab

The one thing you can't block on your network: DNS over HTTPS. It looks like normal web traffic, so there's no way to tell it apart. If LG ever moves its telemetry to DoH, your Pi-hole won't see it. #DNS #privacy #PiHole

UniFi's free content filtering is a black box. A Pi-hole gives you control over exactly what gets blocked on your network: ads, malware, telemetry, whatever you want. In my opinion it's better and easier. #PiHole #UniFi #homelab

I block every DNS server on my network except my two Pi-holes. It can break devices with hardcoded DNS, but it's the most effective way to stop telemetry. The noisiest device on my network? The Roku, hands down. #PiHole #DNS #privacy

Both the Pepwave 5G Adapter and UniFi 5G Max are $399... until you get to checkout. Here's which one's actually worth your money. #UniFi #Pepwave

This $120 point-to-point wireless radio pairs automatically with dip switches and runs on solar power.

Your 5G backup Internet needs a static WAN IP to be a true failover. Crosstalk Mobile 5G Unlimited SIMs have a static IP option for $5/month.

Peplink 5G adapter comes with a free 1GB eSIM - but when you add a real 5G SIM, you'll need to change SIM priority. Here's how to do that.

Don't blow your antennas! Check out my complete Pepwave 5G Adapter setup video on YouTube.

$399 for 5G internet on ANY router with one ethernet cable. The Pepwave 5G Adapter is what the UniFi 5G Max wishes it was.

$39 gets you a credit card sized radio that tracks your GPS off-grid with zero cell signal. Does it actually work? #Meshtastic
