David Carroll

The additions to Elder's @AceHardware on Dayton Blvd are now open. This is HUGE for Red Bank, N. Chatt, downtown and Signal Mountain. The Gardens and Grilles store is for the guys, and the Mercantile store will be a shopping destination for the ladies. Here's a sneak peek.

From the Halloween candy "day after" shelf: I don't know who decided to combine @reeses with @Oreo. But they're my new best friend. Wow, that's good.

True confession: Usually, when the #Braves are eliminated, I'm out. I've had no interest in the Dodgers, Yankees, Astros, etc. This post-season, my wife wanted to watch the #Brewers, so I did too. What a joy. Their "old school" skills should be studied by every youth team. Bravo!

Honestly, if you're just listening to the game, you'd swear the #Brewers were playing at home. Kudos to their fans.

Brewers rookie shortstop Cooper Pratt has 6 straight hits in the World Series. #Braves shortstop Ha-Seong Kim got 15 hits this year in 147 plate appearances. Get busy, Alex.

How many #Braves could crack the starting lineup for the #Brewers?

Thanks to Red Bank Church of Christ Quilting Ministry for this beautiful gift I received this week. Young Colin Carroll agrees: it's an amazing quilt!

Couldn't have said it better myself. The #Brewers in particular are putting on a baseball clinic, in case any other teams are interested.

28-year-old #Brewers catcher #WilliamContreras, a former #Braves prospect, will likely be an unrestricted free agent in 2028. Fearless prediction: He will likely be the highest paid catcher in @MLB. Man, he's good.

I hope y'all are as excited about this World Series as I am. It's a joy to watch 2 "small market" low-payroll teams that move runners over, bunt, run, and make contact. I'm rooting for the #Brewers, but I won't be sad if the #Rays prevail. Either way, it's a win for baseball fans

This is why Artificial Intelligence is taking over the world: it's smarter than we are: that's why the AI news story about me is accompanied by a nice photo.... of some other David Carroll!

I feared Bama would be a mediocre team this year, and then they found a running game for a few weeks. But today Tenn came prepared. Neither team showed much on offense, but the Vols defense is for real. Kudos to Coach Heupel for making a statement in an impressive 26-10 win.

I love my #Braves. But after watching the Brewers sweep the LA Moneybags, I feel like I've seen a whole different brand of baseball. I hope Alex, Walt and the boys are taking notes. #NLCS

I have to wonder if Alex Anthopoulos ever regrets giving up on William Contreras. #Braves

Dear #Braves. Walk. Bunt. Single, run scores. Give it a shot in ‘27. #Brewers

#Braves were 44-21 on June 7th. Then, reality kicked in, and they went 52-49 the rest of the way. Dodgers have a dangerous lineup 1-9. Braves had Michael Harris and not much else in postseason. Thanks for reading my Braves tweets! See ya next year, hopefully. #ChopOn

#Braves refusal to move runners into scoring position with a bunt is infuriating. They do know this is win or go home. Don’t they? 1-1 after 6

Remember the trade deadline? Many #Braves fans wondered if #TylerMahle was good enough for our team. That question has been flipped.
