I can’t tell you how much I hate this Losers like this are exactly why YouTube is full of so much AI slop
🚨 BREAKING: We just made a 2-hour Scooby-Doo recap for 30 cents. This changes everything we thought we knew about Faceless YouTube. Script, voiceover, thumbnail, full edit, motion design. Under 20 minutes start to finish. Full video in the replies. Judge for yourself. it's a whole new ball-game..

And if there’s no data to breach? You think third party companies keep the data used to verify IDs?

Ofcom needs to go to hell, super corrupt organization
🚨 NEW: Ofcom says all adults should have to use their ID to access social media. • Ofcom has recommended four methods for verifying users’ ages ahead of the UK’s ban on social media for under-16s, which is due to come into force in March next year. • The four methods suggested, subject to government approval, are photo ID matching, banking-based checks, live facial age estimation and digital ID. • The regulator noted that verifying the ages of 16 and 17-year-olds is challenging because many do not have credit cards, full driving licences or passports. • Ofcom chief executive Dame Melanie Dawes said the ban can work if firms carry out highly effective age checks, and that the regulator will take action against companies that fail to comply.

There are actually people out there that say "If you have a problem with this, you're a danger to children and have something to hide" Mass surveillance shills make me sick. EVERYONE should be against this
🚨 NEW: The age-check methods for Brits to access social media from March have been announced 1. Photo ID matching (passport against a live photo) 2. Banking checks 3. Digital ID services 4. Facial age estimation (additional check if needed)

Digital ID laws are all about harvesting biometric data and watching everything you do online Don't let any of these corrupt ass governments tell you otherwise
Canada's proposed social media ban for children under 16 could include Roblox, Minecraft, and Discord It could also include stricter age checks, more parental controls and messaging limits

This apparently won't be for all servers or past messages, but it still seems shady The fact that you have to OPT OUT of this update as opposed to opting in is also bullshit This is the same company who had a massive government ID leak, so tread carefully
Discord will soon make public server messages searchable on Google The feature will be enabled by default for US adults, but users can opt out in their privacy settings
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Missing context: only applies to messages posted after the update, in public channels of discoverable servers. No private servers or DMs. Indexed messages won’t show usernames or avatars. Admins can opt out entire servers; users can opt out their own messages. discord.com/blog/making-co…

This is the problem with YouTube. They claim they take the abuse of their copyright system “very seriously,” and yet they pretty much never punish the false claimers It’s unbelievable how little action Youtube takes against people who abuse their copyright tools
Fraudulent false claim was just dropped after my dispute. Why these frauds are even able to do this I have no idea.

Firefox is the best
How is the internet less private than in 2006, when the whole family shared one computer? Back then, the internet was weird, personal, and all of ours. So, we got your favorite meme legends back together to say it louder: What happened to the internet? 1/3

Go ask Australia how it worked out for them. This mass surveillance crusade is invasive AND ineffective
GREECE BANS SOCIAL MEDIA FOR CHILDREN UNDER 15 🚨 Starting January 1, 2027, platforms have to check everyone’s age, so every adult in Greece may soon need to prove who they are just to scroll.

So the Faithful Sheriff is still filing false copyright strikes against tons of YouTubers. He already admitted to striking ConnorEatsPants without even watching his video, which is literally illegal. @TeamYouTube @YouTube why are you not banning this guy? @TheFaithSheriff

So this YouTuber asked for help with her channel termination, and YouTube's AI bot sent her a COMPLETELY UNRELATED CHANNEL in their response. What the hell lol
Hi @TeamYouTube, I’ve sent correspondence to YouTube Support regarding the termination of my Youtube channel(UCqAqLr-ZChKiU8WPC-BeyKA), and have forwarded my previous correspondence for context. I’ve now received an email referencing a completely unrelated YouTube channel that does not belong to me. This raises real concerns for me about privacy and data handling. It’s troubling to receive ianother channel in correspondence about my own case, and it makes me concerned that YouTube’s automated systems may not be taking sufficient care to protect users’ privacy and ensure cases are handled correctly. Could you please help escalate this for a proper human review of my channel termination and clarify why an unrelated channel was included in the email? I’m asking for someone to investigate my specific case, not another generic appeal link. Thank you.

Every single politician that supports the Kids Online Safety Act needs to be voted out This senator is yet another corrupt mass surveillance supporter who is using that same "protect the kids" bullshit excuse
Protecting kids should be part of doing business for online platforms.

I’m championing the Kids Online Safety Act because parents deserve more than excuses from companies who put children at risk. They deserve accountability.
