Today was the first of DeMatha's 2026 Food Drive! Wootten House came in first bringing in 445 food items with Donovan in second with 245. Today's final total was over 1600 canned or non perishable items, roughly 10% of our goal of 11,580.
Adrian Boafo '12 has been elected to the US House of Representatives taking over the seat held by Steny Hoyer since 1981. Adrian will become the first DeMatha grad to serve in Congress.

Tremendous turnout at our Open House today. Thank you to all who attended. Pictured here are the students who manned our welcome table as well as Carlos Castrillon '95 conducting our excellent jazz ensemble. We expect to share a video recap of the day tomorrow.

True story: like a month ago my dad Facetimed me while I was at work. It was very unusual so I answered and it was Ernie friggin Johnson. They were at an event in NYC together. Ernie couldn’t have been nicer. Glad he’s getting all the accolades
The AP U.S. Gov classes went to the Capitol today & thanks to Mat Kowalewski '05 and Jay Rupert, DM parent, were able to take a tour, sit on the House floor for a presentation from Jason Smith, House Parliamentarian, see the House Press Gallery & visit the Library of Congress.
Big win for the Stags.
DeMatha scores with about 30 seconds remaining to defeat St. John’s 1-0 in the first round of the WCAC playoffs. The Stags will play again Thursday. #OneDeMatha
