Today I turn 41! I’m the birthday, as the kids would say.
& here’s what I’ve learned over these years:
A. There’s no substitute for great friends.
B. The little things are the big things.
C. Let things breathe — even important things need space.
D. Life is shorter than you think. Tell them you love them now.
E. We can win in this lifetime.
F. I get why runners always talk about running.
G. None of us are bigger than the program — but we make the program.
Colorado became 1st state to require in-person polling places in jails. (Most people are in jail pretrial, unlike in prison, & have right to vote!)
Person who helped author the reform, Amanda Gonzalez, just won Colorado secretary of state.

So Martha Stewart is now blaming Today Show co-anchor Craig Melvin for her stupid Halloween costume, in which she dressed up as a homeless person?
She says he spilled chocolate on her sweater and she had only 10 minutes to get ready.
As if that left her with no choice but to dress up as a homeless person?
Her initial defense was that she was trying to raise awareness about homelessness, and she made a point of mentioning her support for charities that help homeless people.
So first it was about raising awareness, and now it's Craig's fault?

Everyone’s so confused by this which is why you have to keep up with the right. The groypers want Democrats to destroy MAGA so that a more radical rightwing leader can emerge. MAGA has been a failure to them bc it’s not radical enough & it’s poorly administered.
