Mangaluru: A massive Tiranga Yatra and protest meeting were held at Ullal in Dakshina Kannada on Friday against the SIR exercise, with protesters demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.
Organised by Samyukta Nagarika Vedike, Ullal, the protest saw activist and folk singer Neha Singh Rathore participate as chief guest. Through her protest songs, she criticised the Union government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the SIR exercise.
Protesters took out a rally carrying the national flag before gathering at KC Road Junction for the meeting.
