Companies have known for decades that forced child labor is part of the industry. They know that children are trafficked into the country to work on cocoa farms, doing dangerous work like using machetes to cut cocoa pods from tall trees or carrying loads that weigh more than them

Last week, CAL submitted new information to CBP documenting child trafficking and forced child labor in the Ivorian cocoa industry.

Exciting news: @CorpAcctLab's suit against @Hersheys and @RnfrstAlliance for alleged fairwashing of Hersheys' use of child labor is finally moving forward! After a year of procedural delays, we're excited to fight for the justice farmers deserve.
