My fantasy football rankings are built on structure, distribution, and outcome variance.
The efficiency has NOT traveled in the receiving game 😬😬😬
Zay Flowers has 3.42 yards per route against zone on 124 routes this season.
Jacksonville plays 75.2% zone.
Joe Fagnano is starting tonight.
Those Flowers numbers span across Baltimore's QB changes; they aren't a Fagnano split.
How much of that efficiency travels?
Get your popcorn ready 🍿
Derrick Henry: 158 carries, 8 rushing TDs, 7.86 expected rushing TDs.
Jacksonville just lost DaVon Hamilton for the season.
Baltimore is starting Joe Fagnano.
Henry's scoring has followed his opportunities.
I’m watching whether those opportunities survive the QB change. 👀👀
With Carson Wentz now expected to start at QB, Justin Jefferson gets a modest bump to my WR13 this week.
For tonight, Parker Washington is my WR19 (he's been this high once in his last 5 games) and Zay Flowers is not in my Top-24 (lower than this in two of the last 3 games).
Michael Wilson in fact did break out of his slump versus Dallas
Michael Wilson vs. Dallas has my attention.
Dallas plays single-high on 61.5% of dropbacks in the Week 1–7 data.
That’s where Wilson’s target earning improves.
I’m watching how often Brissett looks his way when Dallas leaves one safety deep.
Really interesting coverage fit.
Can Michael Wilson break out of his slump post MHJ trade?
Will we have a similar situation in 2027?
Brenton Strange has 3.31 yards per route against single-high looks on 84 routes.
Against two-high: 0.88 on 64 routes.
Baltimore uses two-high 60% of the time.
His 2.26 overall average is very strong.
Tonight's coverage splits give us a more specific thing to watch.
Parker Washington vs zone:
2.58 yards per route on 106 routes
25% target rate
Jakobi Meyers: 1.90 on 101 routes
Brian Thomas: 1.19 on 67 routes
Baltimore plays 79.3% zone.
Washington has an upside matchup in this passing game heading into tonight.
Trevor Lawrence vs zone this season:
75.4% completions
9.76 yards per attempt
140 dropbacks
Baltimore plays zone 79.3% of the time.
But… Lawrence averages 7.06 yards per attempt against blitzes.
Baltimore sends one on 37.3% of dropbacks.
Which matchup wins out tonight?
Here's an early look at Week 9's QB Rankings.
Joe Milton and Shedeur Sanders are desperation Superflex starts.
Trevor Lawrence is still a QB1, but things could get out of hand *too* quickly.
Jacksonville's rushing totals entering Thursday:
Bhayshul Tuten: 110 carries, 492 yards, 3 TDs
Chris Rodriguez: 45 carries, 209 yards, 3 TDs
Tuten's ankle/foot and Rodriguez's hand need watching.

STATEMENT FROM JACK CAMPBELL
My family and I want to sincerely thank everyone for the overwhelming amount of love, prayers, and support we’ve received over the past few days. It means more to us than words can express.
I’m incredibly encouraged by the progress I’ve made in such a short period of time. I have full movement in my lower body, and I’m continuing to make progress with movement in my upper body. I know there’s still work ahead, but I remain very optimistic. I’m taking things one day at a time, staying positive, and focusing on getting better.
My faith in God has never been stronger. I know He has a plan for me, and I trust in that plan. I know there may be challenges ahead, but with my faith, my family, and so many people in my corner, I know we’ll get through this.
I especially want to thank the athletic trainers and medical personnel who responded and cared for me on the field. I know those were difficult moments, and I’m incredibly grateful for the professionalism, compassion, and care you showed me. The way you handled everything and looked after me when I needed it most is something I’ll never forget. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
I also can’t say enough about the incredible care I’ve received from the medical team at Henry Ford Hospital and the Detroit Lions medical staff. They’ve been amazing to me and my family throughout this process, and I’m truly grateful for everything they’ve done.
To my teammates, coaches, and everyone in the Lions organization, I want you to know how much I love and appreciate you. This team is a family to me, and the way everyone has been there for me means everything. I’m proud to be a Detroit Lion and couldn’t ask to be surrounded by a better group of people.
One thing I’ve learned about Detroit is that this city is built on toughness, resilience, and grit. That’s exactly how I’m going to approach this challenge.
Please continue to keep me and my family in your prayers. We feel the love, and I can’t thank everyone enough.
God is good. My faith is strong.

Jared Goff vs zone: 8.64 yards per attempt across 219 dropbacks.
Miami plays zone 77.3% of the time and has allowed 0.43 fantasy points per dropback in it. League average: 0.37.
Detroit's passing game gets a juicy setup Sunday.
Goff Top-3 QB in Week 9?
KC Concepcion when Cleveland faces a blitz:
28% target rate
2.81 yards per route on 72 routes
Without a blitz: 0.99 yards per route on 152 routes.
New Orleans blitzes 30.8% of dropbacks.
Curious how often Cleveland gets him involved when the Saints send extra pressure.
You might not like Notre Dame, you might hate Notre Dame, you might think Notre Dame is overrated, but this is clearly a departure from where they’ve been ranked all year.
Spread for Saturday is ND -5.5 vs. no. 1 Miami
