Yesterday, we broke down how to convert three @klaviyo segments on your storefront: one-time buyers, VIPs, and lapsed customers. Brands send each segment its own @klaviyo email, then often send all three to the same homepage and first-order popup a first-time visitor sees. We covered what each segment needs to see instead, where teams get it wrong, and the first test to run for each one. Huge thanks to Ben Zettler (@benzettler), Founder, Zettler Digital, Roddy Smith, GM North America, @socialndzen, and Zak Cassady-Dorion (@ecom_rocket), Founder & CEO, ECD Digital Strategy, for taking one segment each and bringing real client results and impact. Thanks also to Gina Potenza, Partner Program & Strategy Platform Lead, @klaviyo for bringing Klaviyo’s perspective, and Nick Selman (@nickselman), the VP of Growth here at @getshoplift, for showing how to set it all up and read the results by revenue per visitor. A lapsed customer who clicks your winback email should land on a page that says welcome back, with the same offer the email made. ECD Digital Strategy audits 30 to 40 @klaviyo accounts a month, and the winback flow is the gap it finds most often. Even when the flow runs, customers click through to a homepage with a first-order popup. Our new blog takes a look at ECD Digital Strategy’s approach: the two Klaviyo segments and their filters, the importance of reading engagement by clicks instead of opens, how to size the offer, and what the lapsed customer page should show. Link is in the replies below. Planning winback for after BFCM? ECD Digital Strategy will be walking us through the full lapsed customer section at Convert Your Klaviyo Traffic, our free 60-minute masterclass today with @zettlerdigital, @socialandzen and @klaviyo. Today, 11:00 AM ET. Can't make it live? Register anyway. Everyone who registers gets the recording and the full playbook. Register here: shoplift.it/4A1klte

The customers in your loyalty program should see their status on your store, not the first-order discount every new visitor gets. Our new blog post draws on @socialandzen's work: how to build one Klaviyo segment per loyalty tier, what guests, members, and VIPs should each see, the four flows that send members back to your store when their status changes, and why comparing members with non-members won’t tell you what to show them. Link is in the comments. Running a loyalty program on @klaviyo? Roddy Smith, GM North America at @socialandzen, walks through the full VIP section at Convert Your Klaviyo Traffic, our free 60-minute masterclass with @zettlerdigital taking on one-time buyers, ECD Digital Strategy covers lapsed buyers, and Gina Potenza joins from @klaviyo. Half of the customers who place a second order do it within 30 days of their first. Most of them land on a homepage built for strangers. A welcome popup offers 10% off the first order they already placed, and the hero sells the starter pack they already bought. A one-time buyer needs a different page. Give them a reason to come back, put the right next product in front of them, and give them a reason to buy now that isn’t another first-order discount. Our new blog post draws on @zettlerdigital’s work. It shows you how to define the one-time buyer segment in @klaviyo, compare what customers buy in their first and second orders, match the page to your category, and test it by revenue per visitor. Link is in the comments. @benzettler presents the full one-time buyer section live at our @klaviyo masterclass. @socialandzen covers VIPs, ECD Digital Strategy covers lapsed customers, and Gina Potenza joins from @klaviyo. Convert Your Klaviyo Traffic Thursday, October 29, 11:00 AM ET. Free, 60 minutes. Everyone who registers gets the recording and the full playbook. Register here: shoplift.it/4BCii0r

Two days to go. On Thursday, each agency takes one @klaviyo segment and shows what those customers should see on your store: → One-time buyers, with @zettlerdigital: a reason to come back that isn’t a first-order discount → VIPs, with @socialandzen: status and early access instead of a welcome popup → Lapsed customers, with ECD Digital Strategy: the same offer as the message that brought them back Then we show you how to test each page against your current one and read the result by revenue per visitor. You'll see how to tailor the on-site experience for each segment, with a real client result from each agency. Thursday, October 29, 11 AM ET. Everyone who registers gets the playbook, which breaks down each segment and how to test each one. Save your spot here: shoplift.it/4BCii0r

Our free BFCM for the Other Half playbook is ready, co-authored with @northbeam and @CommnThreadCo, for the 53% of $10M+ Shopify brands that don’t have a natural BFCM peak. The playbook sorts Other Half brands into seven buying patterns, from fresh-start brands whose customers start in January to brands whose buyers face a real deadline, like the end of an FSA plan year. For each pattern, it covers how to check it against your own data, what you need from BFCM, what to test on your site, and which metric to judge each test on. The 60-minute masterclass replay is live too: @BryanBumgardner (Northbeam) on acquisition, @nickselman (Shoplift) on conversion, and @iamshackelford (BRĒZ and Common Thread Collective) on the operator view. One week out. Lapsed customers bought, went quiet and stopped opening your email. When one finally clicks your winback message, they land on the same store they left, usually with no sign of the offer you sent. On October 29, Zak Cassady-Dorion (@ecom_rocket) of ECD Digital Strategy shows how ECD reaches lapsed customers through SMS and direct mail, including the ones who stopped opening email, and what to show them on site so they buy again. Convert Your @klaviyo Traffic is a free masterclass, Thursday, October 29 at 11 AM ET. Three agencies take one segment each. 60 minutes, with live Q&A. Everyone who registers gets the playbook. In the inbox, your VIPs see their tier, their points balance and early access. Then they click, and they get the same welcome popup and 10% off as someone who has never bought from you. You give away margin on orders they were going to place anyway. On October 29, Roddy Smith, GM North America at @socialandzen, covers VIPs: what each loyalty tier should see when they land, how a VIP page differs from the page everyone gets, and a client result. Andzen has won Okendo's Best Loyalty Implementation award two years running. Convert Your Klaviyo Traffic is a free masterclass, Thursday, October 29, 11 AM ET. Also presenting: Gina Potenza from @klaviyo, @nickselman from @getshoplift, @benzettler from @zettlerdigital and Zak Cassady-Dorion (@ecom_rocket) from ECD Digital Strategy. Everyone who registers gets the playbook, including Andzen’s chapter on VIPs and loyalty. Register here: link shoplift.it/4Bed9eB

Someone bought from you once, they come back and see the same site they saw before they ordered. Nothing personalized to drive a second purchase. They bought once. Give them a reason to come back. On October 29, @benzettler of @zettlerdigital covers one-time buyers to repeat customers: how to define them in @klaviyo, what they need to be experiencing on your site to turn into repeat buyers, and where teams get it wrong, all from his work with consumable, health and wellness brands. Free masterclass with @nickselman from @getshoplift, Gina Potenza from @klaviyo, Roddy Smith from @socialandzen, and @ecom_rocket from ECD Digital Strategy. Thursday, October 29, 11 AM ET. You segment in Klaviyo. Then you stop personalizing at the click. Your VIPs see the same homepage as a first-time visitor, your winback flow sends people back to the store they left. You test on site, but never by Klaviyo segment. Your agency owns the send, and nobody owns what happens after the click. If that sounds like your store, join us and three @klaviyo agencies on October 29. @zettlerdigital will be covering turning one-time buyers into repeat customers. @socialandzen will be covering VIPs. ECD Digital Strategy will be covering how to bring lapsed customers back, and we'll be closing with how to read each segment by revenue per visitor. Every registrant gets the playbook: one play per segment from the agency that knows it best. Register here: shoplift.it/487H62w

Brands on @klaviyo earn nearly 41% of their email revenue from flows, and flows make up about 5% of the email they send, according to Klaviyo’s email benchmarks. You trigger each flow from something a customer did: a first order, an abandoned cart, 90 days without buying. You split out VIPs, one-time buyers and lapsed customers, and you write each group its own message. Then they click, and every one of them lands on the same homepage as a first-time visitor. On Thursday, October 29, we’re hosting a free masterclass on converting the traffic you send from Klaviyo, with @zettlerdigital, @socialandzen and ECD Digital Strategy. Each agency takes one segment and shows what that customer should see on your store, with a client result. 11 AM ET. 60 minutes, including 20 minutes of live Q&A. Everyone who registers gets the playbook: how to show each Klaviyo segment its own experience on your store and how to test it, with a chapter from each agency. Save your seat: shoplift.it/4zHBMyZ

Ramen Bae leaned harder on paid through the first half of 2026, growing paid sessions 22.9% year over year in Q2. More of the people landing on the store were meeting the brand for the first time. They went into the paid push with a testing habit already built. Founder Jonathan Lam ran his first A/B test in October 2024 with no testing experience. When the brand moved to a custom site built by Manufactur, their long-time agency partner, Shoplift’s theme-level approach kept Jonathan testing without a developer in the loop for every idea. Ramen Bae has launched 141 experiments on Shoplift since that first test. Across the first half of 2026, Ramen Bae raised revenue per visitor by 26.4% and average order value by 27.8%. A visit to their site was worth 26% more than a year earlier, while first-time visitors from paid made up a bigger share of the traffic. Read the full case in the replies below.

When Anna Parmelee joined @fishwife as Head of Growth, the site had minimal systematic testing. Together with their agency partner on/Sight, they worked to change that and mapped out a strategy: target bigger, run fewer tests, and anchor everything to revenue per visitor. When traffic triples, conversion rate usually takes a hit; that's how ecommerce typically works, but for Fishwife, it was a bit different. While sessions surged 77–170% YoY, their revenue per visitor grew 25% at peak. That's not luck. Conversion rate is hard to grow when volume expands this quickly, because each new wave of traffic is lower intent than the last. Growing it anyway, in every quarter, is the clearest sign the program is working. That's what a mature CRO program looks like at this stage of growth: not a single breakthrough test, but a site that keeps converting better even as the brand scales and a compounding record of decisions made on evidence. Full case study is now live, link is in the replies.
