The community section is live in the GoMining app. Thousands of people mine with us every day, and until now you had no way of seeing any of them. The section brings that into the app. Ecosystem news with reactions, posts written by the people using the product, and a live view of what is happening across the platform, in one place instead of three. Tap any user to see their profile: VIP level, avatar, farm and when they started mining. Posting is available from certain VIP levels. Rolling out in stages on mobile.

If your daily $BTC rewards dropped last month, you did nothing wrong. Bitcoin made mining harder in October. Twice. Difficulty rose 5.92% on the 16th and 5.54% on the 29th. Earning the same $BTC now takes about 12% more work than it did on 3 October. This hit every Bitcoin miner in the world. What it costs them is where they differ. Miners paying household electricity prices switch off first. Your digital miner runs on industrial rates inside a GoMining data center, so it never stopped. Next change lands around 16 November. Did your rewards drop last month?

Bitcoin mining got about 12% harder in October. Two difficulty rises in a month: 5.92% on the 16th, then 5.54% on the 29th, taking the network to 148.36T. For anyone running bitcoin miners, the same hardware now earns less $BTC per day than it did four weeks ago. Nothing broke. The network noticed more hashrate arriving and made the puzzle harder. The interesting part is where that hashrate came from, because most adjustments this year were cuts. This is one Bitcoin mining farm in the United States. 70 megawatts, around 21,000 ASIC miners. What do you think is driving the recovery?

Appreciate the honest feedback @ianpaget Fair point on the Live opt-out. Nobody wants a feed full of noise, so we'll make sure moderation gets the attention it needs. And yes, Discord is for those who want to keep everything in one place. Thanks for giving it a proper look!
GoMining just launched Community Posts, so I had a look around and wanted to share my honest first impressions. How it works: • Mobile app only, for now • Bronze 2 and above can post once a day • Platinum 1 and above can post five times a day • Posts include a title, text and image, and require approval before appearing in the feed There’s also a new Live tab showing what people across the community are doing in real time. My honest take? I’m not sold. I’m not a fan of the Live feed. I think some of that activity should stay private, and there should at least be an option to opt out. I’m also concerned the feed could become quite noisy. There will undoubtedly be some great creators sharing useful content, but if that’s the goal, why not invite them to contribute guest articles to GoMining’s existing platform? The community already has places to connect and share advice, such as Discord. I’m not convinced we need another social feed built into the app. Apologies to the @GoMining team if you’re reading this. These are just my honest first impressions, and I’m happy to be proven wrong! Would you use it? Let me know below 👇

A card payment can be reversed months later. A bank transfer can be recalled. Both feel safe because someone can undo them. $BTC works the other way. Once a transaction is in a block, it stays there. For the person paying, that's a reason to be careful. For the person being paid, it's the whole point: no chargebacks, no funds pulled back weeks after the goods have gone. Same property, opposite feeling, depending on which side of the counter you're on. Which side would you rather be?

THE SUPPLY IS ALREADY GONE Everyone talks about 2140. But the more interesting milestone has already happened. By March 2026, more than 95% of all the $BTC that will ever exist was already in circulation. What's left will be released gradually over roughly 114 years, taking the issued supply to around 99% by 2035. And even "circulating supply" doesn't tell the whole story. Chainalysis estimates that 2.78 to 3.79 million BTC may be permanently lost, including roughly 1 million BTC in early wallets attributed to Satoshi that have never moved. So Bitcoin's available supply is being squeezed from both ends. New coins enter the market more slowly, while some existing coins effectively disappear from it.

The team at this GoMining data center gets a list of jobs from clients. They have usually done most of it before the list arrives. Power cycling, fan changes, swapping power supplies. The dull work that keeps a machine earning instead of sitting idle. The one thing they leave alone is hash boards and motherboards. Most of these ASIC miners are still under warranty, and repairing those in-house would void it, so those go back to the manufacturer. Knowing what to fix matters as much as knowing how. What would you forget to check if these were in your garage?

You hold a miner, it earns $BTC every day, and that is that. Nothing else happens. Miner Wars is what happens when you put it to work somewhere else. Your mining power becomes your score, you join a clan, and clans compete for a prize fund across the cycle. The miner keeps mining the whole time. You are using the same hashrate twice. Our latest Hotel GoMining checks in a guest who wants more out of theirs.

Tomorrow at 12pm UTC, 150 ghost miners arrive at GoMining. 🎃 Each glass ghost miner comes with 31 TH of hashrate and an energy efficiency of 13 W/TH. The specs are worth a closer look. The primary market moved to 15 W/TH this week, making this collection more energy-efficient than the new miners currently listed there. Lower W/TH means less power consumed for the same hashrate, which can mean lower electricity costs over time. $599 each. Fixed price. Just 150 available. Our Christmas collection went fast. Let's see how long these ghosts stick around. 👻 Which design should we bring out next?

An artwork made for the event closed the evening, auctioned in $BTC. Everything raised went to TreeGens, a foundation that plants and protects trees in Kenya and pays local communities to care for them. More than 15,000 trees will be planted, each carrying a plaque with the GoMining logo and the name of the guest who bought the piece.
