Prolonged exposure to working in opposition creates a bone-deep grievance pov
When everything is commanding you to see five lights, speak truth and proclaim there are only four. Rest in peace, Sir Patrick Stewart.

After one week, businesses have seen ‘foot fall’ (love the Brits) skyrocket and that has translated into business growth. Sales are up 25% year over year! The alignment of the right with a car-oriented city will always amaze me. It’s not intuitive. From an infrastructure perspective, it is insanely expensive to orient your city and region around cars. From a quality of life perspective, it’s terrible for seniors and children. And for the umpteenth time…cars don’t dine and shop. People do. More people in the city = thriving for all. More cars in the city = lower quality of life for all.
As we head into Oxford Street's first traffic-free weekend, evidence is already showing the benefits to businesses. Market Halls footfall is up 29%, and sales are up 25% year-on-year ⬇️

This is not what I think when I hear that term
A lot of golfers hear the term "animal hole" and think it's limited to an actual hole in the ground that interferes with their lie, stance or swing. But under the Rules of Golf, it's much more than that!

"Canadians should be upset not only that these multinationals took Canadians’ hard-earned taxpayer dollars and enriched their foreign shareholders, but that governments encouraged this unsustainable model of economic development." Zing.

His lawyers had a memo on his desk at 6 am this morning walking him through all the ways he screwed up and created liability in his PnP interview yesterday Bet we won’t be seeing him on TV again for a minute or two

It should probably be acknowledged that every frame of the Elizabeth Holmes documentary that doesn’t contain Elizabeth Holmes could be entirely made up. This, plus the regular ways a documentary can be fabricated should make viewers skeptical.

A one-term progressive mayor. What a drag.
World renowned environmentalist and activist David Suzuki spoke out Wednesday about mayoral candidate Brad Bradford’s plan for Toronto’s water and how it is managed, saying a fundamental need should not be seen as an avenue to make money. tinyurl.com/bddm9dkh
