It took three years, but we finally covered #GreysAnatomy - and just in time for Halloween! Is season 10's "Thriller" more medically accurate than "The Human Centipede?"
(Yes, but it was a close call.)

Another successful #SDCC on the books! Thanks to everyone that came out!
We hate to break it to you, but #Morbius might not be medically accurate. At 14%, it's significantly less accurate than "The Human Centipede" and currently in our bottom three.

Got all dressed up for a nice dinner and instead spent the eve in the ER in Spain with my kid who is fine now but the point is they gave me a list of meds and told me it would be expensive and I asked how much and they said between 2 & 10 Euros each and I laughed and laughed

As a medical doctor, I can safely say that Epidemiology is more medically accurate.
I also field Pottery questions.
We're kicking off #Hortober, our discussion of medical accuracy in horror media, with #Community S02E06 "Epidemiology." It's a great Halloween episode, but is it more medically accurate than "The Human Centipede?"
No. No it is not.

School is full swing, so it's a good time to discuss #PeteandPete's "Sick Day", including the ins and outs of faking sick, foreign objects, and... hot air balloon-related mass casualty events? podcasts.apple.com/us/podcas…
This week, Johnny, Dr. Jackson, and Dr. Greg Winter discuss the medical accuracy of 1997's Men in Black. Fun fact - the Men in Black use they/them pronouns! podcasts.apple.com/us/podcas…
Also, write surgery scenes with masked doctors so that doctors in the audience don't bury their own faces in their hands while watching.
