#BREAKING: Bombay High Court slams BJP leaders for criticising a videoclip wherein Bollywood Actor Dia Mirza had appealed citizens to avoid bursting firecrackers on public streets as ordered by the High Court.
She was roped in to create awareness on the issue by the BMC, however, after the opposition by BJP leaders, the video was pulled down from the BMC's social media handle.
Bench of Justice Girish Kulkarni & Justice Dr Neela Gokhale said "they are disturbed by the stray comments made by some politicians" and reminded them that "India is a Secular country."
Judges have ordered the BMC to restore the deleted video

Why should banks fund under-construction homes? The money goes to the builder, who often delays projects, leaves things incomplete, and many buildings never get an OC. Banks should fund only homes in buildings that already have an OC.
It was such a life and death issue that court had to take up the matter so urgently .
People listen only to Dia not others who have shared the same message .

This is definitely not the language of a police officer in uniform. ACP Manasvi has crossed the line by openly flouting the discipline of the Delhi Police. Transfers and postings are the sole prerogative of the competent authority. He could have requested for an audience with the Commissioner of Police, Delhi if he felt aggrieved. By issuing statements before the media and using expletives for the lawyers is in bad taste. The disciplinary and cadre controlling authority of DANIPS is MHA and it must review the conduct of the ACP and police personnel who sat at the gates of the PHQ on Monday. @CPDelhi
