He said they needed this 47 years ago, but nobody had the balls to do it except Trump (his words, not mine)! Washington has never had a revenue problem. Until very recently, we actually had a budget surplus and Jay Inslee and Bob Ferguson squandered that.
Repealing an income tax that hasn't been collected yet only hurts the NGO grifters who can on the money to enrich themselves.
Washington's spending grew twice as fast as inflation and population combined, and now takes a larger share of the economy than it did ten years ago.
Keeping up with both inflation and population growth would have meant about +64%. Spending rose +127%, roughly double that, so even the tougher baseline leaves spending well ahead. (FEED THE BEAST)
A CEO and CFO would gt fired for running a business like this.
