Recently, @CivilAirPatrol cadets visited the JB MDL Mission Enhancement Cell to learn about 3D printing innovations during their Tri-Wing Encampment, a summer program for cadets to learn about careers in military service.
Fueling the fight ⛽️
The 32nd Air Refueling Squadron recently conducted specialized fueling operations by landing the aircraft, keeping one engine running, and then receiving fuel from a fuel truck.
During a fuel spill exercise, the JB MDL Fire Department used a drone's infrared sensor to find a line of demarcation.
“Conducting these exercises is very important should a real-world [event] happen. We already know we’re going to be able to handle it quickly.”
