Deleted How much more does this man need to do to earn some respect around here? For two sets in a row, Deleted has been a top-half Pro Points earner: 8th last set, 11th this. He hasn’t placed lower than 17th in the last six TPC events. This is his 3rd Top 8 over the last two sets. And despite that, Deleted cannot shake this reputation he earned in Set 16 as one of the weakest members of the TPC. It’s one of the difficult parts of TFT. Your form can change day to day, but your history stays with you forever. LATAM has not had as much success as BR or NA since the merging of the regions, and Deleted has yet to be “accepted” as an elite among the greats of the AMER. So why on earth is he still here? Maybe there is something to be said about putting your entire region on your back to prove the world wrong. Or maybe Set 16 was actually the fluke set in Deleted’s career. Or maybe it was the catalyst he needed to reach his true potential. All I know is that Deleted has very quickly risen from almost no expectations to suddenly feeling like a contender for the Tactician’s Crown. He might be exactly what LATAM needs to have confidence in their region once again.
