Everything Everything are one of the best bands in the UK - they’re dear friends and we’ve had the honour of touring with them a lot over the years.

As part of our Under the Iron Sea 20th anniversary celebrations, we’re pleased to announce an Everything Everything remix of A Bad Dream. They’ve always said very generous things about this song, and now they’ve brought their own extremely fun and superbly arch take to the remix.

I basically wanted to write something that sounded like The Strokes - seemed like I’d been listening to Is This It? relentlessly ever since it came out.

It took a long time to get the words but eventually the phrase ‘is it any wonder’ came along as a shorthand for feeling overwhelmed by everything that was happening around us at that moment, on a global political level especially. Tim

A lot has happened in the twenty years since Under The Iron Sea was released - many seismic moments in our lives, both good and bad. There’s been a softening in us and a long, gentle process of healing as individuals and as a band.

We’ve delved deeper into the mysterious and beautiful world that Sanna Annukka created, which both expands on and honours her original artwork. I can honestly say that it looks spectacular. We hope you enjoy it all. Love Tom, Tim, Richard and Jesse x
