Ted Oakley: They Can’t Pay Off $40 Trillion, the Dollar Keeps Decaying Ted Oakley @Oxbow_Advisors of Oxbow Advisors expects interest rate cuts by mid-2027 as the economy slows, and says gold will like that. But after #gold jumped more than $100 on the midterm vote, he's cutting gold miners, he's out of silver, he's selling Google and Microsoft, and he's holding about half his clients' money in cash and Treasuries. Oakley, who has managed money through every cycle since the 1970s, says we're at the end of this cycle and expects weakness for most of 2027. He explains why the "just buy the S&P 500" approach is coming to an end, why commodities are signaling a slowdown, why he sold 20% of his top energy winners, and why he's moving that money into 3- to 5-year Treasuries. youtube.com/watch?v=B7rm7UUz…

Gold climbs above $4,100 as falling yields, softer labor costs support bullion Spot #gold and #silver prices were higher in early U.S. trading Thursday, extending Wednesday's sharp gains as lower Treasury yields and a softer U.S. #dollar continued to support precious metals following Democrats' sweeping victories in the U.S. midterm elections. Fresh economic data showing stronger productivity growth and declining unit labor costs provided additional relief from inflation concerns, although resilient employment conditions and expectations for another Federal Reserve interest rate increase in December continued to limit the bullish implications for bullion. At the latest verified morning price reading, spot gold was trading near $4,119.50 an ounce, up $60.30, or 1.49%, while spot silver was trading near $52.390, up $0.294, or 0.56%. Gold had earlier reached $4,146.63, its highest level since Oct. 20, extending its recovery from October's steep correction. kitco.com/news/article/2026-…

Gold surges, platinum hits our target. Can the bulls keep going? Well, the bulls certainly weren't planning to sit quietly through Wednesday's session! After several days of bearish pressure, buyers have launched impressive counterattacks across the metals market. #Gold has pushed through resistance barriers that seemed particularly difficult to overcome just yesterday and platinum has reached another downside target we highlighted in advance - before staging a powerful recovery of its own. kitco.com/opinion/2026-11-04… Commentary by Anna Radomska

I'm still bullish on crypto, but Wednesday's rebound is not a free pass to chase. Bitcoin's rising TBO slow line keeps me focused on the recovery, while disappointing volume and a single green day call for caution. A close above the cloud would give me stronger bullish confirmation; patience still pays. I'm watching Bitcoin's new support at 76,388 and the cloud top at 82,155, alongside Ethereum's bullish divergence and ascending slow line. ETH's rebound and rising dominance show money favoring Ethereum, not a broad altcoin breakout: Bitcoin dominance also rose, while OTHERS dominance fell. I want to see that strength spread rather than assume every chart has turned. I'm tracking Solana's raised TBO support, with resistance still near the fast line, and Uniswap reclaiming its fast line as it approaches the cloud. DXY weakness supports my currency outlook, but USDJPY's bullish confirmation signal complicates that view. I also review Club stocks and viewer picks, including the Uranium ETF at historical support, where a bounce is still a possibility rather than a promise. The dollar decides: What the midterm rally in gold and silver says about the next turn (Kitco Commentary by Gary S Wagner @TheGoldForecast) - #Preciousmetals surged on Wednesday after Democrats swept both chambers of Congress. #Gold gained roughly 3% to about $4,050 an ounce, reclaiming the $4,000 level, while #silver jumped close to 5% to near $52. Platinum rose as much as 4.4% to around $1,470, and palladium led the group with a gain of about 6.5% to roughly $995. The common thread was the US Dollar Index, which slid to a five-week low near 101.2 as Treasury yields fell. Markets read the result as gridlock that could stall the administration's tax cut, tariff and deregulation agenda and remove some of the fiscal fuel that has supported the dollar this year. Gold futures finished the session near $4,073, up about 4.5% on the week. kitco.com/opinion/2026-11-04…

Gold climbs above $4,000, Wall Street rallies as Dems take Congress Spot #gold and #silver prices were sharply higher in late U.S. trading Wednesday, as Democrats' sweeping victories in the U.S. midterm elections sent the dollar, Treasury yields and crude oil prices lower, encouraging renewed buying interest in precious metals. The election results handed Democrats control of both chambers of Congress, raising expectations for legislative gridlock and potentially more restrained fiscal spending during the remainder of President Donald Trump's term. kitco.com/news/article/2026-…

Is gold's recovery above $4,000 enough to fix a broken market? asks Michele Schneider @marketgauge After last week’s sharp selloff, the #gold market has managed to reclaim the $4,000 level. While this is an important hurdle that needs to be cleared, one market strategist says the precious metal still has significant work to do to undo the recent technical damage. kitco.com/news/article/2026-…

Fury Gold Mines Sees Rising Interest Ahead of 2027 PFS | Tim Clark Fury Gold Mines @FuryGoldMines (TSX, NYSE American: FURY) is exploring the potential to exceed 100,000 ounces of annual #gold production at its Eau Claire project in Quebec, while new drilling results at Committee Bay in Nunavut strengthen its resource growth strategy. Speaking with Kitco Mining's Paul Harris on October 29, 2026, CEO Tim Clark discusses how resource conversion, higher gold-price assumptions and additional engineering could expand on Eau Claire's 2025 preliminary economic assessment, which outlined average annual production of approximately 76,000 ounces over 11 years. A larger production scenario remains subject to further technical work ahead of the planned 2027 pre-feasibility study. youtube.com/watch?v=2OP20P-0…

Galiano Gold Sees Path Above 250K Oz at Asanko | Matt Badylak @GalianoGold is approaching what CEO Matt Badylak calls a financial inflection point at the Asanko Gold Mine in Ghana, with production expected to rise in 2027 as higher-grade ore enters the mill and the company’s hedge book rolls off. Speaking with Kitco Mining’s Paul Harris at the 2026 Mining Forum Americas, Badylak said Galiano is targeting 140,000–160,000 ounces of #gold in 2026 before moving back toward Asanko’s historical production level of roughly 190,000 ounces in 2027. As production rises, he expects all-in sustaining costs to fall into the low $2,000s per ounce. youtube.com/watch?v=dK91GU2W…

Gold and silver surge as Democratic midterm sweep drives dollar, yields lower Spot #gold and silver prices were sharply higher in early U.S. trading Wednesday, as Democrats' sweeping victories in the U.S. midterm elections sent the dollar and Treasury yields lower, encouraging renewed buying interest in precious metals. The election results handed Democrats control of both the House of Representatives and Senate, raising expectations for legislative gridlock and potentially more restrained federal spending during the remainder of President Donald Trump's term. Gold climbed back above $4,000.00 an ounce following October's sharp correction, while silver recovered more strongly as lower yields and improved precious metals sentiment encouraged buying. At the time of writing, spot gold was trading near $4,041.30 an ounce, up $111.90, or 2.85%, while spot #silver was trading near $51.910, up $2.237, or 4.50%, on the session. kitco.com/news/article/2026-…

Gold prices hit $4,000 as Democrats see electoral Sweep to gain control of Congress The #gold market is seeing a healthy rally as the Democratic Party appears poised to take control of Congress following significant electoral gains in both the House and Senate. Spot gold is testing initial resistance at $4,000 an ounce, up nearly 2% on the session, as political pundits begin making their final calls on the 2026 midterm elections. As results continue to come in, analysts note that a Democratic sweep could lay the groundwork for higher gold prices through 2027. kitco.com/news/article/2026-…

Gold’s October correction was overdone - Commerzbank The #gold market is holding support above $3,900 an ounce after seeing its worst monthly performance since the start of the year and its worst October since 2008. Although prices continue to struggle, one bank sees last month's sell-off as a potential buying opportunity, as the fundamental factors supporting higher prices remain firmly in place. In his latest precious metals commentary, Carsten Fritsch, Commodity Analyst at @Commerzbank, said that gold's recent weakness appears overdone, particularly as the precious metal has become disconnected from traditional market fundamentals. kitco.com/news/article/2026-…

Gold demand remains near record highs as central bank buying surges 42% – WGC The gold market continues to face significant headwinds from higher interest rates and elevated bond yields, but investment demand and stronger-than-expected central bank purchases are expected to provide important support for the precious metal through the end of the year, according to the World @GoldCouncil. In its latest Gold Demand Trends report published Tuesday, the World Gold Council (WGC) said that total global #gold demand, including over-the-counter investment, fell 1% year-over-year to 1,369 tonnes in the third quarter. The analysts added that year-to-date demand currently stands at 3,881 tonnes, virtually matching the 2025 record. At the same time, although demand volumes have edged lower, the value of gold consumption reached a record $566 billion during the first nine months of the year. kitco.com/news/article/2026-…

Gold gains, silver slips as U.S. midterms and Iran strikes unsettle markets Spot #gold prices were higher and spot #silver prices were lower in early U.S. trading Tuesday, as investors positioned for the U.S. midterm elections amid renewed tensions involving Iran and the Strait of Hormuz. Crude oil prices rebounded after Monday's sharp decline following reports of U.S. military strikes on Iran's Qeshm Island, while persistent inflation concerns and expectations for additional Federal Reserve tightening continued to complicate the outlook for precious metals. At the time of writing, spot gold was trading near $3,965.80 an ounce, up $20.10, or 0.51%, while spot silver was trading near $50.290, down $0.241, or 0.48%, on the session. kitco.com/news/article/2026-…

Gold prices push above $3,900 but still face significant headwinds - Pepperstone’s Wu The #gold market has managed to attract some important bargain hunting after falling to a one-year low last week below $3,900 an ounce. While the precious metal has managed to clear one near-term resistance level, according to one market strategist, it still faces an uphill battle ahead. In her latest precious metals note, Dilin Wu, market strategist at Pepperstone, said that gold needs to break back above $4,000 an ounce to ease recent downside pressure and create room for a more sustained technical recovery. kitco.com/news/article/2026-…

Gold and silver selloff is the buying opportunity of a lifetime - Bawden Capital #Gold and #silver are seeing a modest recovery after Friday’s market rout, which capped their worst October performance since 2008. Some investors have grown frustrated with the precious metals as prices have struggled in recent weeks, facing rising opportunity costs as central banks around the world attempt to bring inflation under control. Most recently, gold and silver have also been caught in a broader liquidity squeeze as equity markets experienced a significant selloff last week. kitco.com/news/article/2026-…

Gold is bouncing harder than Bitcoin. Here's why I went long gold and silver before the midterms #Gold may have found its bottom under $4,000. #Bitcoin's bounce already looks tired, and with the midterms tomorrow, risk versus reward favors the yellow metal right now. When Friday ended, gold and Bitcoin were both beaten down. By Monday morning, it was clear which one buyers wanted. kitco.com/opinion/2026-11-02… Kitco Commentary by Cassius Cuvée @cassiuscuvee
