How anti-Israeli is Wikipedia?
So anti-Israeli that on October 7, October 7 is not mentioned.

I take issue with much of the criticism leveled at Mayor Mamdani’s October 7 statement—not because it is undeserved, but because I believe it misses the deeper implication and is therefore far too mild.
His assertion that “the suffering did not begin nor end that day,” coupled with his references to occupation and apartheid, reads to me as more than a condemnation of Israel’s response. It implies that Israel created the conditions that brought about October 7 itself.
That implicit assignment of blame to the victims is what deserves the strongest condemnation.
Mamdani blames Israel (!) for October 7th itself.
This day is profoundly painful for so many New Yorkers. It marks three years since the horrific war crimes of October 7. On that day, Hamas killed more than 1,100 Israelis and abducted 251 others. We grieve alongside our many friends and neighbors who still carry that unthinkable loss.
The suffering did not begin nor end that day. It instead continued through the Israeli government’s devastating, ongoing genocide in Gaza, in which it has killed more than 74,000 Palestinians—including more than 21,000 children. Even since the so-called ceasefire, more than 1,400 Palestinians have been killed. That suffering has intensified with every Israeli bomb dropped on ambulances waiting outside hospitals, every drone strike targeting a residential building or journalist, and every shipment of food aid turned away at a border crossing. Many New Yorkers are reckoning with this unbearable grief, and we mourn alongside them – all while knowing that our tax dollars fund these war crimes.
Three years later, we must refuse to accept a world in which occupation and apartheid continue, where war crimes are met with impunity, and our federal government continues its complicity with every arms shipment.
To honor the dead, we must fight for a world in which every person can live with freedom, safety, and dignity.

Underestimate @RahmEmanuel at your own risk. He knows how to win. He knows how to fight. And he knows how to message.
And no one will out work him. Regardless of whether he wins the Democratic nomination in 2028 he will make an impact on the race. You can be sure of that. Don't take your eyes off of him. At the minimum, learn from him.

“Make sure no harm comes to her” as they kidnap her and her babies? Give me a fucking break, this is delusional levels of whitewashing terrorism and you don’t actually have to do this in order to defend Palestinians’ rights to freedom and life.
zios usually take out the audio when they show the clip of the the Bibas woman, but this guy didn't realize he was letting the world hear what the fighters were saying.
here's a glimpse:
"protect this woman."
"make sure no harm comes to her."
"let her know we have humanity [translation: that we don't harm women and children]."
"I wish I could speak Hebrew to reassure her that she will not be harmed by us."

Smart column:
The Galliano gala got the OK from a pre-October 7 group of rabbis and Jewish leaders.
It fell apart because of the emergence of post-10/7 Jewish leaders like Julie Menin, and because the Jews are tired of being treated like speed bumps. My latest: commentary.org/seth-mandel/t…

I just learned of this stabbing in Atlanta that happened a few days ago. The statement below is not from the victim's family but from the family of the killer. It is worth reading.
Same woman who skipped the Michigan Dem Convention this weekend over safety concerns? That Dana Nessel?
Michigan AG Dana Nessel called on Jewish Dems to "place the needs of the world" even "over our own survival" in speech Sunday.
“We have a moral imperative to place the needs of the world above even our own self-interest and, yes, even our own survival"

Day 6.
My office has been asking the @NYC_DOT to replace this missing light on Beach 116th Street in Rockaway since April of 2025.
I will keep posting this light every day until they finally fix it.

The utter failure of Israeli authorities to put a stop to the siege of a Palestinian family by Israeli terrorists (US Amb. Mike Huckabee’s accurate description) is unconscionable and unacceptable. It is a moral and political failure by a government captive to extremists.

Mehdi Roshani، a young Kurdish man from Malekshahi who went to the streets demanding basic rights and was tortured so severely is about to be hanged.
A witness who saw him in prison said:
"If you saw his body, you would be horrified. There was not a single uninjured spot. It was covered with marks of electric shocks and whips."
He was arrested on January 21. Transferred to Tehran. Held in total isolation for months. Tortured for forced confessions. Released on bail, then re-arrested two weeks later.
Now the Islamic Republic wants to execute him, using those confessions as "evidence." But he didn’t confess also his body was destroyed.
His family is too poor to afford a smartphone in order to fight for his life.
Equal parts bonkers and shameful.
