We were taught that Earth orbits the Sun in a closed circle. In reality, Earth has never returned to the same point in space once in 4.5 billion years.
Right now, the Sun is carrying Earth and every planet around the center of the Milky Way at 230 km/s (828,000 km/h), more than 18,000 kilometers every 80 seconds.
Because the Solar System is tilted 60.2° to the galactic plane and bobs up and down through the galactic disc roughly every 30 million years, the planets trace open 3D corkscrew helices across deep space rather than flat loops.
The last time the Sun stood where it stands today, one Galactic Year (230 million years) ago, the very first dinosaurs were only beginning to appear on Earth. Since forming 4.6 billion years ago, our Sun has completed only 20 laps.

At the age of 71, an Egyptian woman, Hajja Sukkara (also reported as Sana Abdel Sattar), from Beheira Governorate, has achieved something truly extraordinary.
She successfully recited the entire Holy Qur’an, all 30 Juz, entirely from memory in one continuous session.
Even more remarkable, the recitation took approximately 14 hours, without a single mistake.
Her achievement was monitored live by a panel of Qur’an teachers and certified Huffaz through a video conference to verify the accuracy and completion of her recitation.

A Muslim man in Medina once stole a suit of armour and framed an innocent Jewish man.
His Muslim clansmen rallied to his defence, appealing to Prophet Muhammad to protect their own.
Then came a Quranic revelation:
“Whoever commits a fault or a sin and then blames it on an innocent person has certainly burdened himself with slander and manifest sin.”(Quran 4:112)
The revelation condemned the Muslim wrongdoer and defended the innocent Jewish man.
Think about that. For fourteen centuries, Muslims have recited verses that, according to classical accounts, were revealed in part to defend a Jewish man against a Muslim and his tribal supporters.
The Quran did not ask whose tribe he belonged to. It asked who was innocent. That is what principled justice looks like.
Justice is not loyalty to your religion, your nation, or your tribe. It is loyalty to what is right, even when the wrongdoer is one of your own.
That is the Islam I believe in.
