I was recently removed from 9INE AC, with the explanation that my energy wasn't what the team was looking for. I have never claimed to be the perfect IGL. When I joined, I had only been leading for a few months, and I knew I still had a lot to learn. But I worked hard to improve: joined before/stayed after praccs to learn, brought new ideas to the team, suggested demo reviews and always tried to take feedback on board and adapt. I genuinely tried to bring positive energy to the team, whether it was celebrating a good round, encouraging the boys after a bad one or simply trying to keep everyone motivated. Of course, I made mistakes along the way, and there are things I could have handled better. But I also believe that growth takes time, especially when you've only had 3 weeks to prove yourself in a role you're still relatively new to. What hurts the most isn't being removed from the team. It's feeling like the effort I put into improving and becoming a better IGL, by working on the things I was told needed improvement, wasn't given enough time to show its results. I have no hard feelings towards my former teammates or the staff. I appreciate the opportunity and the people I got to work with, and I genuinely wish them the best. This experience won't change my ambitions. I'll take everything I've learned from it, keep working on myself and come back stronger. The grind doesn't stop. I still believe I'll get the opportunity to prove what I'm capable of. As we say in Portugal, when 1 door closes, 2 windows open.
