Everything we’ve built on Mavryk is non-custodial… just saying. Your assets are always your assets.

Not your keys, not your coins. On Mavryk, the keys are always yours. Every app built on the network is non-custodial, powered by MPC tech that keeps self-custody simple enough for anyone to use.
One of blockchain's core advantages is self-custody. Not your keys, not your coins. Time for the industry to prioritize user-friendly, non-custodial platforms.

Tokenization has a storytelling problem. Everyone talks about the trillions. Almost no one talks about the plumbing. Alex Davis (@mv1_Davis) went deep on the plumbing with @stakingcabin: what the stack looks like, what gets missed, and how Mavryk Network, @equiteezdotcom, and @MavenFinanceDAO connect. 🎙️ youtu.be/R68U75adShk

Thanks for having us on, @stakingcabin Our founder, @mv1_Davis, on where tokenization is headed in 2027 and how @MavrykNetwork, Equiteez, and @MavenFinanceDAO fit together.

5 myths about real-world assets onchain, debunked: 1. "It's just a crypto trend." Major financial firms are rolling out tokenized Treasuries, funds, and bonds. This is traditional finance moving onchain, not the other way around. 2. "Tokenization creates value out of thin air." It doesn't. A token is only as good as the asset and legal rights behind it. What tokenization changes is access, speed, and how the asset can be used. 3. "It's only for institutions." Fractional ownership means people can hold a slice of assets that used to require a seven-figure check. 4. "You can't get out once you're in." Secondary markets are what separate real tokenization from a digital certificate. Liquidity is the whole point. 5. "Any blockchain can do it." Real-world assets carry real-world rules: eligibility, transfer restrictions, compliance. The infrastructure has to be built for that. That last one is why Mavryk exists.

Mavryk Word of the Week: Mempool The waiting room for transactions that have been sent but not yet confirmed. Like a queue at the bank counter, except everyone can see the line. ⏳ How it works: - You sign and broadcast a transaction - Nodes hold it in their mempool and share it across the network - Validators pick transactions from the pool for the next block (Higher fees usually mean getting picked sooner) Why it matters: The mempool is public, so pending trades are visible before they settle. That visibility is what makes front-running possible. For institutional-size orders in tokenized assets, how a chain handles its mempool is a serious design question.

Bridge deposits and withdrawals now appear directly in wallet history. Each transaction shows the originating and destination networks, giving users a single timeline for both onchain and cross-chain activity.

A tokenized Treasury, a tokenized gold bar, and a tokenized credit pool have nothing in common. Different issuers. Different rules. Different holders. Except they all need the same four things from the chain underneath: a way to prove the asset exists, a way to enforce who can hold it, a way to move it fast, and a way to put it to work. Most chains give you the third one and call it done. Mavryk is built for all four.

More than half of tokenized trading happens outside traditional market hours. 80% of tokenized equity trades are smaller than one share. The market has already told us what it wants: always on, fractional, accessible. Source: @IMFNews

"Just tokenize it" is how you get a token with a story attached. Due diligence before issuance. Compliant structure at launch. Real secondary markets after. Distributions, reporting, and lifecycle management for years. That's the unglamorous work most of this industry skips, and it's exactly the part we refused to skip. Equiteez exists because tokenizing an asset was never the goal. Making it actually work was.

Tokenizing one asset usually takes a lawyer, an auditor, a custodian, a trustee, an SPV or vault, a licensed issuer, a distributor, and then a chain. So when someone says they tokenized something over a weekend, ask which six of those they skipped.

Tokenization isn't about putting assets on a blockchain. It's about what those assets can do once they're there.

A question nobody in finance wants to answer: if AI and robotics take over a big share of jobs, how does an ordinary person get ahead? Some form of basic income might keep food on the table. It won’t build wealth. We think the answer is ownership. When labor is worth less, assets are worth more. The people who come out ahead will own things that produce income: hotels, businesses, real estate, insurance pools. Right now most people can own public stocks and maybe a home. That’s not enough for what’s coming. Tokenization lets ownership open up to everyone, in small amounts, from anywhere. Not as a nice-to-have. As a necessity.
