The FSCA, @fscasouthafrica, has fined Joy Praise Kgaphola (Datum RS) R300k and debarred him for 20 years for unlawfully soliciting investments and promising unrealistic crypto/trading returns on social media.
I am really glad that the FSCA is clamping down on these social media posts promising to trade CFDs and crypto for clients. I just wish people would realise that anyone promising quick returns is just there to take your money! Always verify an FSP's licence before investing.
