After 7.5 years building @elemindtech, I'm excited to share the biggest milestone in our company's history: Elemind has been acquired!
We'll share more details at the right time, but this is a big win for Elemind and for neuromodulation technology.
My co-founder David Wang and I are moving to the Bay Area to join the acquiring company full-time and become part of their team. We've gotten to know the team well over the last few months, and we're excited to work together in this next chapter where we'll have the opportunity to put Elemind's technology in front of vastly more people than before with the scale, resources and platform of a publicly traded company behind us. More to come.
We started Elemind on a belief that precisely timed stimulation could move the brain from one state to another, without drugs. We took that from the lab to market, shipping Elemind to 10k people, starting with sleep. Along the way we completed multiple clinical trials, published our research, earned customers like Nike & Google, & built a patent portfolio around the technology. What a journey!
If you own an Elemind headband, nothing changes for you today. Your device, app and membership will continue to work, and support is still here at [email protected]

This was a team effort, start to finish:
To the Elemind team: David Wang, @eboyden3 , @Heather_L_Read , Nir Grossman, Roshan Rajappa, Matt Workman, Jo McKinney, Ryan Neely, Scott Bressler, Ryan Yost, Greg Burlingame, Tyler Gage, Dhushan, Anna, Justin, Susan McBride, Zoe Coady. You built something that didn't exist before with a fraction of the resources most companies have.
A very special shoutout to @PankajKedia , who is an n of 1. There is no better investor, advisor, or friend. You made me and Elemind infinitely better, and I am forever your champion.
To the people who fought beside me: Susan Paley, who helped through every battle; @kenhertz who has been with me through every company; Ariel Ganz who is just incredible; Benjamin Rolnik; Joe Cannon; Mark Kovacs. And to Craig Venter, who isn't here to see this, and who I wish were.
To our investors, thank you for believing in us: Qing Zhang & Winston Fu from LDVP Partners, @eriktorenberg , Village Global, Metaplanet; Anuj Malhotra; Jenny Liu; Sumeet Vadera; Sean Kelly & Josh Wand from The Family Fund, Kurt Seidensticker; Matthew Rogers; Embark Ventures; E14 Fund; Joyance Partners; Pehong Chen; Thomas Layton; Ariel Poler, Daniel & Michael Broukhim; Gaingels; Sumit Nagpal, Al Campanella, Mike Sutcliffe; Igor Gonta, Joshua Wachman; Tucker Hughes; Jeff; Sahir Ali; David Golob; David Michaels; Justin Yarborough
To my dad, Arthur W. Perry, MD, FACS, who has advised me on every contract since my first one at uBeam, through this one.
And most of all, to my husband @pmchek, who is an absolute warrior. I could not have done this without him.
I moved to Marin yesterday, and today is my first day of work in the office with the new company post Elemind acquisition.
I've been a founder since college so this is truly my first job, at 37. Here we go!
Elemind got acquired & @pmchek and I are moving to the Bay Area next week as the buyer’s HQ is in SF.
New chapter! Who lives in the area? Haven’t spent much time there since 2013.
This is the kind of investor you want backing you!
@AmberIllig Once a founder, always a founder. When @meredithperry starts her next startup, I am her first check. You have the opportunity to be the second check. Are you in?

I've attempted to map everything in oncology in a public website and open source repo for all.
The site is trying to get all cancers, products, technologies, bottlenecks, people, startup opportunities with 1000+ ideas for upgrading the field.
If you have a loved one with cancer and you are technical or can engineer, go take a look, file improvement requests or bugs or help with the open repo and make this the best open and free info resource for individuals, researchers and educational use.
This should save people time, aid AI oncology projects and generate positive action. If you are not technical just complain in this thread about broken or annoying or things you want and I'll fix them live.
Some of the interesting pages:
Treatments: onco.cc/drugs
A gallery of the molecules being used onco.cc/molecules/
And targets: onco.cc/targets/
The technologies in oncology: onco.cc/technologies/
1100 ideas for helping oncology: onco.cc/ideas/

Here is the project roadmap: onco.cc/roadmap/
Models and data sets: onco.cc/models/
There are other views as well, take a browse.
Try making a PR if you have an upgrade to this on the repo here: github.com/judegomila/OnCo
If you are biologically/medically minded and something is wrong, file a bug as well or say on the thread and we will get it fixed live.
If this is a useful project star the repo and help get it calibrated.
I've tried to add some other languages but I cannot speak them so tell me if that doesnt work well.
I believe we will crack oncology and having total information dominance is key to the problem.
Let the feedback flow!
The human reviewing the AI output is now the limiting factor in productivity
I run multiple tasks simultaneously to get things done faster - in Claude code, cowork, and chat, oftentimes multiple threads in each. I’m sure others do this too. I lose track of what I’m working on.
It would be helpful if there were a clearer visual dashboard of work in progress organized by task, status, separated visually by color, clearer titles vs just pinned or starred chats and read/unread
I think projects are helpful with organization & working within a specific set of files/data but doesn’t address the simultaneous work issue
Curious how others handle this
@claudeai @OpenAI
There should be a way in @claudeai to access chat memory from a project without having to ask the question WITHIN the project itself

The fastest Elemind’s headband has helped someone fall asleep is 3 minutes, the median time to fall asleep amongst our ~10k users is 11 minutes.
