Financial advice in 2026:
Borrow money for college.
Borrow money for a house.
Borrow money for a car.
Invest your savings because holding cash is stupid.
Work until you're nearly 70.
And somehow the guy buying Bitcoin every paycheck is the irresponsible one.
Getting texts from an old friend I encouraged to attend Bitcoin Amsterdam. Says he’s unimpressed with the event.
Turns out he’s at Bitcoin for Corporations Symposium. (Side event)
So I told him to wait until he sees the actual conference I’m sure it’ll be amazing and send me pics.
After last night’s midterm results, I’m starting to think Presidnet Trump might have trouble getting elected to a fourth term
Before the ballots are counted wanted to say a special thank you for all the folks at @standwithcrypto for fighting the good fight.

I think Dennis Porter is stumping so hard for James Talarico because he finally found someone as creepy, awkward, and unsettling as himself.

Years ago, I worked with the Haitian Prime Minister’s team to bring crypto companies to Haiti to help drive Bitcoin adoption and help the unbanked.
No matter how hard I tried the real fear of gangs and corruption stalled all corporate partners. I was resigned to think I failed and maybe Bitcoin couldn’t "fix it"
But look like the Bitcoin President can!
One of Haiti’s most notorious gangs is asking for peace talks amid fears that an influx of thousands of El Salvadoran troops could lead to more bloodshed in the troubled Caribbean nation. bloomberg.com/news/articles/…
my daughter went as JASON Hughes the Canadian Killer. I went as a depressed Canadian silver medalist with a stuffy.
Why wouldn’t El Salvador become the world’s most feared enforcer against international hacking gangs and digital currency theft?
International hacking gangs operate in a strange legal gray area. Victims, exchanges, servers, and criminals are scattered across dozens of countries. Nobody knows who’s responsible for going after them, and the criminals exploit that confusion. That’s a massive opportunity for a country willing to do what others won’t.
El Salvador adopted Bitcoin as a national currency. Defending the digital financial system should be a matter of national security. And El Salvador has something most countries don’t. A globally recognized president, @nayibbukele , who has built his reputation on crushing criminal gangs, taking bold risks, and refusing to let his critics dictate his approach to crime.
Why not build the world’s most aggressive cybercrime enforcement agency? Elite investigators, intelligence specialists, prosecutors, and highly trained military units prepared to pursue international hacking gangs around the globe.
Imagine being a hacker in some international criminal syndicate and suddenly realizing the country coming after you is El Salvador. And 20 years in CECOT is waiting.
Banks, exchanges, and digital asset companies would pay a fortune for that kind of protection. A 10% recovery bounty on the @binance hack alone could be worth more than twice the IMF’s financing for El Salvador, equivalent to roughly 2% of the country’s GDP. Imagine replacing IMF leverage with a global industry built on hunting down digital criminals.
But here’s where it gets even more interesting. Cybersecurity is already a massive global industry. El Salvador is making major investments in technology. Why not build an entire national industry around digital security and enforcement?
Thousands of highly paid, highly trained jobs. Cybersecurity experts, engineers, intelligence analysts, investigators, and military specialists. Global cybersecurity firms and financial institutions establishing headquarters in El Salvador. International talent relocating to a country that offers an attractive lifestyle and the opportunity to work at the forefront of digital security.
Instead of just attracting Bitcoin companies, El Salvador could become the global headquarters for protecting digital property. Switzerland became famous for protecting wealth. El Salvador could become famous for hunting down the people who steal it.
Half kidding. But seriously, why not?
👏My 👏culture 👏is 👏not 👏your costume 👏
I hope that @Lagarde apologizes to Nelly, The Saint Lunatics, and all the mid 90s hip hop fans.
Found the flaw in @LynAldenContact nothing stops the train' thesis. Turns out the Spanish communists can.
After coming back from his first trip to Europe @OptimistFields is also stepping down to spend more time with @Lagarde.
So proud of Lagarde for finally leaving the euro. Nobody should take that kind of beating from Bitcoin for that long.
