Yesterday’s shocking Russian attack on a train and railway station in Dnipro is deeply disturbing. My deepest condolences to all who lost loved ones. Russia must stop its senseless attacks on civilians. @andrii_sybiha, we will continue to stand firmly with Ukraine.
My deepest condolences go out to the families, friends & colleagues of those who lost their lives in the @EUFORALTHEA helicopter crash near Brčko, Bosnia and Herzegovina. My thoughts are with everyone affected by this tragedy.
Goed om minister-president Eman van Aruba vandaag te ontvangen. We spraken over de goede samenwerking tussen onze landen en de ontwikkelingen in Venezuela. In een geopolitiek onrustige wereld zijn korte lijnen binnen het Koninkrijk belangrijk. Dank voor de waardevolle inzichten.
Together with our EU partners, we continue to work to protect the ICC’s independence in the face of sanctions. I spoke with Commissioner Albuquerque about the Commission’s role in supporting the Court. We underlined the importance of EU operators’ continued service to the ICC.
Good to welcome my Moldovan colleague @MihaiPopsoi to The Hague. We discussed growing Russian threats to Moldova’s security and Moldova’s progress towards EU membership. The Netherlands will provide an extra €1.48m to help protect Moldova’s skies.
De veiligheid van Oekraïne is ook onze veiligheid. Juist nu Rusland de aanvallen opvoert, moet Europa laten zien dat Oekraïne op ons kan rekenen. Nederland blijft zich samen met onze partners inzetten voor de steun die Oekraïne nodig heeft.
Oekraïne verdedigt zich al jaren met alles wat het heeft tegen de Russische agressie. Niet alleen voor de eigen vrijheid en veiligheid, maar ook voor die van de rest van Europa.
Op het Catshuis in Den Haag ontving ik president @ZelenskyyUa, samen met de @DefensieMin Yeşilgöz-Zegerius en @ministerBZ Berendsen om te spreken over wat Oekraïne nu het hardst nodig heeft. Hierbij sloot @ministerBHOS Sjoerdsma vanuit Kiev digitaal aan.
Rusland voert de aanvallen op burgers en kritieke infrastructuur verder op, juist nu de winter nadert. Daarom breidt het kabinet de steun uit: met een militair wintersteunpakket met onder meer luchtverdediging en drones én met een meerjarig pakket voor energie, drinkwater en gezondheidszorg.
Ik roep alle bondgenoten op om ook hun verantwoordelijkheid te nemen. Want er is meer nodig, juist nu. Op Nederland kan Oekraïne blijven rekenen.

Thank you Prime Minister @NikolPashinyan for your warm hospitality in Yerevan. We reaffirmed our growing political, economic and social bond and the closer cooperation between Armenia and the EU. I also thanked him for his personal commitment to peace with Azerbaijan.
In my meeting with Minister @AraratMirzoyan, I highlighted our support for Armenia as it advances democratic reforms and deepens ties with the EU. We also exchanged views on ways to increase Armenia’s access to the EU market and on the peace process with Azerbaijan.
Pleasant meeting with Minister @Bayramov_Jeyhun on our bilateral ties and possibilities to cooperate in agriculture, logistics and water management. We also discussed the peace process with Armenia, including Dutch support for the International Commission on Missing Persons.
Thank you @presidentaz Aliyev for the warm welcome in Baku and our excellent exchange. We reaffirmed our commitment to strengthening political and economic ties between Azerbaijan and the Netherlands.
This week, I am visiting Azerbaijan and Armenia to further deepen our cooperation with both countries. I will also discuss the Azerbaijan-Armenia peace process with my colleagues @Bayramov_Jeyhun and @AraratMirzoyan. The Netherlands supports further steps towards lasting peace.

Whether cycling against the wind together or working side by side on European security, a strong partnership makes all the difference.
Today, Minister @sikorskiradek and @ministerBZ opened the annual Utrecht Conference. Since 1999, the conference has brought Poland and the Netherlands together to strengthen political and economic cooperation and address shared challenges.
With this year’s conference taking place in the Netherlands, a bike ride and a stop at a traditional Dutch oliebollen stand were a must.
Our close cooperation keeps moving forward, and next year’s conference in Poland may be the perfect moment to discover Polish pączki.

Today, my Polish colleague @sikorskiradek and I opened the 35th Utrecht Conference, which brings together officials from 🇵🇱🇳🇱 ministries. Great to have such close cooperation with our Polish friends, working together to strengthen European security, competitiveness and autonomy.
During my meeting with the President, Vice President and Registrar of the @IntlCrimCourt, I was deeply impressed by their leadership in these challenging times. The Netherlands stands firm in its defense of the Court.

Internationale samenwerking is essentieel voor onze veiligheid. Gisteren kwam de Frans-Nederlandse Nucleaire Stuurgroep voor het eerst bijeen. Op initiatief van @EmmanuelMacron spreekt NL met Frankrijk over het versterken van de Europese dimensie van nucleaire afschrikking. 1/3
Europa moet meer verantwoordelijkheid nemen voor de eigen verdediging. Het gesprek met Frankrijk richt zich daarop en is aanvullend op de collectieve verdediging en nucleaire afschrikking van de NAVO, waarbij de Amerikaanse nucleaire paraplu het fundament blijft. 2/3
