Arab Cup’s $36.5m whopping prizemoney threatens to overshadow AFCON africasoccer.com/arab-cups-3…

Just wondering who will be the first to name a new national team coach between The Three Lions Of England and the Super Eagles of Nigeria whose coach Finidi George was the first to resign last month before Gareth Southgate called it a day last week. Fake contest abi!!

What is football in the air without it on the tube. Get up Eagles and go to Abidjan to show your discontent with chicken feed. No time to stay crestfallen..

African football will always defy logic. Football fully in the air and yet we were all struggling to find where to watch our national team. We can't expect excellence from our teams and yet the little things that give Nigerians the joy to crave for more excellence are neglected

Effort remains everything. The second half was a quintessential show of renewed hope. Will it be expanded and extended on Monday. These boys have a fight on their hands against a Rohr team springing with hope. Who could have imagined Lesotho topping Nigeria's group.

To everything under the sun there is a time to go. The grand Macky marches out for the fanciful Faye! Time will always tell.
