Hello, this is MovieBloc! 🎬 Graduation films and first directorial works. There is a festival section that seeks out the voices of student filmmakers who have yet to take a festival stage. It's the "Asian Students' Film Conference," introduced last year by the Tokyo International Film Festival (TIFF), which was launched in 1985 and has become Japan's only FIAPF-accredited competitive film festival. MovieBloc presents the works from this section, which has kept its eye on the next generation of Asian cinema. The "TIFF Asian Students' Film Conference Online Showcase" opens on MovieBloc on Monday, October 12, for two weeks! 🎉 ✨ What makes this showcase special! - Ahead of the 39th TIFF opening on October 26, we're bringing back the films that first met audiences in this section last year.
