This planet is haunted! 👻 Ghosts of volcanoes, lakes & more are visible in echoes seen from space. Explore places on our planet haunted by the past, like the Manicouagan Crater, formed 214 million years ago when a 3-mile wide asteroid struck Canada. go.nasa.gov/4zIVp9Q

This summer, @NASA scientists spent six weeks chasing fire clouds. 🔥☁️ Using planes and trucks, the team studied several dangerous, smoke-infused clouds generated by wildfires. The data will help predict where these clouds may form and improve climate and atmospheric models.
