Thank You. And the end of the $NRN token
The CortX Foundation is winding down the $NRN token and beginning its own dissolution. Before the details, a heartfelt thank you. Many of you supported $NRN, played, competed, and pushed this project further than it would ever have gone on its own.
This was not a decision we took lightly
We arrived here only after a long evaluation of the alternatives. Over recent months we worked through the options available for the token and tested each one for a path that could work for the community and for the project. We wanted a resolution we could stand behind. In the end, none of the alternatives offered a sustainable way forward, and continuing without one would have served no one.
What this means if you hold $NRN
Your tokens stay in your wallet. Nothing is frozen, seized, or reissued.
There is no buyback or redemption.
Trading and liquidity support are winding down. Please follow each exchange's official notice and act on your holdings before the withdrawal deadlines they set.
We cannot give financial advice. Any decision about your tokens is yours.
CEX delisting
The centralized exchanges where $NRN is listed, including Gate and KuCoin, will announce their own delisting processes and timelines separately in the coming days. Please watch for their official notices and act within the windows they set.
Once each exchange's withdrawal window closes, move your tokens to a self-custodied wallet if you want to keep them; the token will still exist on-chain.
To our community
Most of all, thank you. This community showed up for $NRN with an energy and a loyalty we never took for granted. You played, you competed, you brought people in, and you stayed through every turn. That support meant everything, and it is what we will remember from this project.

2025 has been a huge year for me; both in personal growth and in gaining unfettered access to insights from some of the most impressive teams building at the frontier of AI, robotics and crypto
Over the past year I’ve spoken with hundreds of builders shaping what this future actually looks like
That’s why I’m confident 2026 will be even bigger, and it’s why today I’m launching @KhalaResearch
I started writing threads back in January 2021 after failing to find any real research on NFT liquidity pools (wild I know). I stitched together what I could from scattered whitepapers, broke it down, and posted it.
The response was far bigger than I expected
Since then my rule has been simple:
If I have a question and the research doesn’t exist; I create it
Khala is the next evolution of that process, but with structure, consistency, and scale
After meeting @haitzu at a lunch organised by @0xDith during Token2049 Dubai last year, we realised the same problem kept coming up everywhere:
high-signal research on niche frontier tech is almost impossible to access when you actually need it
Khala exists to close that information gap.
We’ll be publishing deep, practical reports on emerging technology sectors that matter, without the noise

The global robotics market is a multi-trillion dollar opportunity, yet progress is being stifled by a massive, obvious gap: the difference between marketing hype and actual autonomy.
The industry is currently stuck in the "Demo-ware' era.
This isn't just an engineering problem… it's a form of market failure. Robotics lacks the critical, independent evaluation infrastructure that accelerated the LLM revolution.

"Once you have a token or an NFT, you are competing with what the rest of web3 has to offer"
Impactful convo about building games in the web3 space
Most web3 games will fail... because they don't understand who they're building for.
Lemme explain.
(A) First, we have general Web3
▸ Financial returns > everything else
▸ Playing most games feels like opportunity cost
▸ They play “money games”
(B) Then, we’ve got Gamers
▸ They care about fun, quality, and immersion.
▸ They have *a lot* of options already.
▸ Many are skeptical about anything crypto-related.
(C) And finally, "Web3 Gamers"
▸ Tiny pool compared to A or B.
▸ Play games but also care about financial returns.
▸ Given time, they migrate to A because, well… opportunity cost is king (particularly in bull markets).
As a Web3 game, who are you actually building for?
Common answers:
▸ C ("Web3 Gamers")
▸ B + C ("We’re going to onboard traditional players into web3")
▸ Or… everyone (lol)
But here’s the problem…
▸ If you’ve issued NFTs or tokens, you’re already targeting A + C by default.
▸ And since C often becomes A over time congrats—you’re building for A.
The Paradox:
▸ If you build for B (Gamers), you’ll eventually piss off A (Crypto Natives). A cares about financial returns, not a polished game.
▸ If you build for C, there aren’t enough players to scale. The supply/demand math is brutal.
▸ If you’re targeting A, then you need to build different games.
Let’s be real:
▸ Most Web3 games are in a tough spot because they’re trying to please everyone—and that’s extremely freakin’ hard.
▸ If you choose to target Web3 gamers (C) is tiny. A few games will make it, but for most? The supply (games launching) & demand (actual players) math just doesn’t work.
Some quick caveats:
▸ Individual exceptions exist (for example, a person in bucket A who likes to play a particular game), observations reflect the overall macro level view.
▸ We're assuming that web3 gaming projects primarily aim for financial success, measured by token FDV or NFT floor price. If you have different goals, this analysis doesn’t apply to you.
▸ I'm not judging games or claiming any approach is superior. I'm simply presenting the reality of what builders face. Yes, there will be success stories—but they’ll be rare. And rarer still, if builders aren’t honest with themselves.
The takeaway?
▸ Be honest about who you’re building for.
▸ If your audience is A, lean into it - you need to build different.
▸ If it’s B, you’ll need a quality game and strategy to bring players in outside of web3, probably delay crypto mechanics as long as you can.
▸ Just don’t lie to yourself—this space is brutally competitive as it is, and clarity is the first step.
