Ossoff: As grim as things have been, there really is so much that we can accomplish as a nation once we come back together.
Look, the American people, not just Democrats, are opposed to secret corporate money in politics. The American people, not just Democrats, believe that insurance companies shouldn't be able to deny us the health care that we need. The American people, not just Democrats, want us to take AI seriously and our obligations to govern on behalf of our national security and the security of future generations seriously.
And I hope that the example of these conservative Republican mayors in Georgia backing my campaign gives people some hope that we can come together again as a country and achieve great national things together.

Ossoff: Five days after his father was reelected, Prince Don Jr. becomes a partner at 1789 Capital, a venture firm founded by right-wing activists and Trump donors. 1789 Capital then buys a stake in Vulcan Elements, a tiny startup that says it plans to produce the high-tech magnets needed in drones, missiles, and satellites.
And about a month after Don Jr.’s venture firm buys its stake in Vulcan Elements, Pentagon officials learn that Peter Navarro — a convicted criminal, Don Jr.’s close friend, and a top White House official — wants the Pentagon to give your tax dollars to Vulcan Elements. One Pentagon official said, "The call came from the White House: We have to get this done."
And, Athens, to be clear, "getting this done" means funneling your money to the president’s son’s investment.
Ossoff: This week, we were warned again of existential risk to the human species. And what fills us with dread is the crushing weakness of our politics against the massive stakes of our times. Tech titans dig bunkers while warning us the new intelligence they’re creating risks human extinction. Congress debates youth sports, and the president builds a ballroom.
An ancient establishment barely capable of email sleepwalks into a technological revolution while the president dismantles precautions and calls us fools for worrying. On day one, Donald Trump rescinded the AI safety order meant to guard against catastrophic risks, including the engineering of bioweapons.
Meanwhile, Don Junior’s 1789 Capital bought big-money stakes in data centers and AI labs. The Emiratis’ spy chief committed $500 million to the Trump family crypto business, and four months later, the Trump administration granted the Emirates the rights to buy our most sensitive AI chips.
See, a capable president would move swiftly to secure and reassure the American people, rush inspectors into frontier labs, fortify the nation against bioterrorism, demand legislation from Congress, and lead the world toward an AI treaty.
But President Trump is compromised.

One of the congressman's staffers posting swastikas online and depicting himself in the costume of the Ku Klux Klan. Disgraceful — disgraceful and disqualifying. Yet another week, yet another scandal for the bigot Congressman Mike Collins and his collapsing Senate campaign.

Ossoff: I had intended at this event to address the ongoing scandal of Congressman Mike Collins and his refusal to cooperate with the federal investigation into the illegal misuse of tax dollars, it had been my intention to come and address that scandal and to call on the congressman to commit to testifying in that matter.
But then I saw the stunning news this morning in the Washington Post that should shock the conscience of every Georgian, confirming yet more extensive ties between Congressman Mike Collins and white nationalism, and Congressman Mike Collins and neo-Nazi ideology.

Ossoff: Apparently, in the White House, the truth hurts.
They have lied us into war after promising peace. They've driven inflation skyrocketing, thrown people off their health insurance, doubled health insurance premiums for more than a million Georgians after they promised to bring down prices on day one.
And the president's done so, enabled not just by hangers-on and sycophants in the White House, but also Republicans in Congress who have enabled him at every turn. And one of them is Congressman Mike Collins here in Georgia.
Ossoff: It’s been amazing to watch this White House melt down over this all week. And about Natalie Harp, these White House staffers are adults, public officials paid by the taxpayer, with immense power in positions of public trust. And whether it’s Natalie Harp printing out Donald Trump’s daily dose of delusion and flattery, or Peter Navarro steering taxpayer-funded loans to Trump family investments, or Pete Hegseth deluding the president daily into deepening this quagmire in the Middle East, no one cares about their feelings.
The sailors on the Lincoln are fighting his war, a war based on lies, while he plays with his new ballroom, flies around on a jet given to him by a foreign prince, and retreats into this circle of sycophantic aides who tell him every day what he wants to hear, not what he needs to hear.
This entire White House is responsible for lying the country into war, and for the rest of their careers, they will be known for having participated in this obscenity.
