Replying to @ZohranKMamdani
@ZohranKMamdani , of course you got her to commit to stopping the sale of #StolenPalestinianLand in exchange for your endorsement, right?
This November, the choice is easy. Letitia James for Attorney General. Vote early now through November 1 or on Election Day, November 3.

💢🇵🇸 Over 800 Palestinians have been forced to displace yet again from Shujaiya, an eastern neighborhood in Gaza City, after Israeli forces set fire to a displacement camp, according to Al Jazeera. Israeli quadcopter drones set the camp ablaze at around 8 p.m. local time on Sunday destroying tents housing men, women, children, and the elderly.

How can the sick and injured in Gaza recover when they don't have access to the nutrition their bodies need to heal? Donate here: chuffed.org/project/help-us-… For many, their only source of food is whatever community kitchens are serving, often meals lacking essential proteins from meat or poultry. This man has had an external fixator attached to his leg for nearly a year and a half, and his bone is still not healing properly. Without adequate nutrition, particularly protein and essential vitamins and minerals, bone healing becomes even more difficult. Food is not just about satisfying hunger. For patients recovering from injuries, nutrition is part of their medical treatment. On September 16, The Sameer Project distributed 508 meals of rice and chicken breast at Ahl Al-Sham Camp in Deir al-Balah, at a total cost of $1,211 after 11% commission. We need to do more than keep people from starving. We need to give their bodies a chance to heal. Do not let the passing days make us forget Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya, the physician who continued fulfilling his humanitarian duty in Gaza amid war and danger, refusing to abandon his patients despite the pain and threats surrounding him. Hussam Abu Safiya is not just a name that appeared in the news. He is the story of a doctor who chose to stand by his people when staying meant risking his life. Do not forget him. Do not let his case fade into silence. Keep demanding his freedom. Behind this name is a human being who deserves to remain in our conscience until the day he is free.

They killed her family members, they destroyed her home, they displaced her multiple times, they deprived her of medication, and her attachment to Palestinian is unshakable. Give to Gaza: chuffed.org/project/136892-m… The military occupation continues the genocide in Gaza for its fourth year. But no matter how large the destruction is, nothing can destroy Palestinian faith or spirit, and nothing will drive us out of our land. This video was taken during a chronic illness mobile clinic on October 20th in Rimal Al Aqsa Camp in Hamad City, Khan Younis. This was the 7th visit by The Sameer Project medical team to this camp where 48 patients were treated and given free medication. This is a critical initiative for people but we need your help to sustain it. I think folks missed a piece of this, so I just want to highlight this particular dynamic. There is a particular type of evil within the processes of zionism, in that they are disposses, maiming and slaughtering the people they know personally. 1/3
During these lockdowns, hospitals & medical facilities can run short staffed, or have to call in workers on off days — because that's how many Palestinians from the WB are doctors/staff. If you go to Haddasah Ein Karem, there is a possiblity of having a doctor Ahmed from Hebron.

A simple haircut becomes a luxury when you’re living through genocide, especially for people with disabilities. Supporter mobile barber here: chuffed.org/project/113222-t… Gaza’s rubble-filled roads and destroyed infrastructure make something as ordinary as getting a haircut incredibly difficult for those with limited mobility. That’s why The Sameer Project brings free Mobile Barbershop services directly into displacement camps, ensuring that children and people with disabilities aren't deprived of basic personal care and dignity. On October 15, our team visited Issa Murad Camp in North Gaza, providing free haircuts to 75 individuals for just around $180 including the 11% transfer fee. This father explains how difficult it is to navigate the destroyed roads with his son and a neighbor with special needs, and how much this simple initiative means to them. Humanitarian aid isn't just about food, water, and medicine. It's also about restoring the everyday dignity that genocide has stripped away. ⚡️ Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed to demolish an entire Hebron neighborhood, expel its residents and build "more and more settlements" after two Israeli soldiers were killed in a shooting near the illegally occupied West Bank city on Friday. Two Palestinian gunmen opened fire at a junction outside Hebron, killing a staff sergeant and a sergeant, before Israeli forces killed them. Palestinian media identified them as Hamouda Jaaba and Firas Jaaba, both 27, from Hebron. Netanyahu blamed Hamas but offered no evidence beyond ammunition the army said it found in their car. "Our first step will be to demolish this site and completely transform it," Netanyahu said, adding Israel is "building and arranging over 100 new settlements." Israeli forces sealed off Hebron, the largest city in the West Bank, and arrested dozens as Netanyahu ordered preparations for a full closure of the entire West Bank – applying to Palestinians only, with Israeli roads staying open to settlers. The news comes just five days before Israel's elections, with Netanyahu trailing in the polls.

🚨 Two Palestinian gunmen opened fire at an Israeli military checkpoint near Hebron in the occupied West Bank on Friday, killing two Israeli soldiers and wounding three others before being killed by Israeli forces. The gunfight lasted more than 20 minutes. Israeli forces then imposed a sweeping military lockdown on Hebron governorate, closing all entrances and exits, and preventing Palestinian movement. Troops raided homes and detained at least five Palestinians in raids, according to WAFA. Israeli forces also critically wounded a Palestinian driver after shooting him in the chest in Dura, southwest of Hebron, and closed the Ibrahimi Mosque to Muslim worshippers. During a subsequent visit to Hebron on Friday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced he had instructed the army and security forces to “immediately impose a closure on the city of Hebron” and prepare for a “full lockdown” of the entire West Bank starting Friday. Netanyahu added that along with Defense Minister Israel Katz they were considering an extensive operation in the West Bank “such as has not been carried out since the Six Day War,” in reference to 1967. Netanyahu announced plans to apply the same “successful and aggressive model” used in the occupied West Bank refugee camps, where Israeli forces have displaced tens of thousands of residents and demolished large areas in what rights groups have said are crimes against humanity.

I don't think people realize how deeply the IOF is embedded in Columbia's campus. Between the dozens of current and ex-IOF soldiers, Rebecca Weiner, Keren Yarhi-Milo, and countless other professors who have been involved in the Israeli military apparatus—it's truly unfathomable.

Bakeries are closing across Gaza. Flour prices are rising. Food and essential goods are still not entering in the quantities desperately needed. And once again, families are facing the terrifying reality of not knowing where their next loaf of bread will come from. Please support here: chuffed.org/project/help-us-… On October 14, The Sameer Project distributed 514 bundles of freshly baked bread, including 250 bundles to displaced families in Al-Asdiqaa Camp in Deir al-Balah. Our bakery remains operational, but rising flour prices mean every bundle costs more to produce. Families cannot afford another bread crisis, and we cannot afford to scale back production. Bread is survival, especially when community kitchens are closing and market stalls are empty. Help us keep our bakery running and making over 5,000 loaves per day. The UN has told Palestinian officials it will stop receiving Palestinians returning from Egypt and coordinating their entry into Gaza from mid-November, citing the dangers facing returnees and repeated Israeli arrests, Drop Site News reported. The decision follows Israel's arrest of a Palestinian cancer patient and her daughter on the day Rafah reopened after a 10-day suspension, and could block medical evacuations out of Gaza altogether.
