Halloween isn't American. 🎃
Not the name. 🏴
Not the costumes. 🎭
Not the lantern. 🕯️
Not even "trick or treat". 🚪
The word was so Scottish that Robert Burns had to add a footnote for the English explaining what it was. 📜
The first lanterns weren't pumpkins. 👀
The first time "trick or treat" appeared in print, it wasn't in America. 📰
Every year someone calls Halloween an American import. 🙄
They never tell you the knock on your door is OLDER than America itself. 🇺🇸
So this Halloween, skip the trick. 👻
Be the treat. 🍬

Britain aimed its warships at an African island. 🇬🇧⚓🚢
Over one market.
The Sultan refused to close it.
It paid a quarter of everything his empire earned.💰
What was he selling?
People. 💀⛓️
Twenty thousand a year. Mostly children. ⛓️
In 1873 London sent him a final warning. 📜
"Close the market. Or the Royal Navy closes the island." 🇬🇧
What they built on that ground is still there. You can walk in today. 🕊️
They teach you the Atlantic slave trade.
Not the one in East Africa.

My biggest concern is that if there is a clean sweep by Democrats of the House, Senate and Presidency in 2028, they will:
1. Make DC and Puerto Rico states to gain a strong majority in the Senate.
2. Open the borders and legalize everyone living in America illegally to cement a permanent majority.
3. Increase the size of the Supreme Court to gain an immediate majority.
This would result in America becoming a permanent one-party state and the end of democracy in any meaningful sense of the word.
All that is needed to ensure this doesn’t happen is 51 Republican senators in 2029. That is why you should vote for Republican senators this election. Other reasons are irrelevant compared to this one.
This is ridiculous. Surely it's a joke. Some people today are so emotionally fragile it's a wonder they manage to leave the house. He should have told the woman, the commissioner, and the panel to fuck right off. What the hell is wrong with him?

Tonight, my family and I experienced something no family should ever have to go through.
Our restaurant, Singh’s Dining Restaurant in Hammersmith, was attacked by a group of Islamists.
We had been receiving death threats every single day, including one that specifically warned us that 28 October would be our last day.
We raised our concerns, and the @metpoliceuk were aware of the threats. Yet tonight, we found ourselves facing the very nightmare we had feared.
My daughter had to close the shutters just in time. I cannot even begin to imagine what might have happened if she hadn’t acted so quickly. We could have lost someone in our family tonight.
The attackers reportedly tried for a long time to break through the shutters to get inside, leaving shortly before the police arrived.
We have serious concerns about how the attackers knew when to leave, and whether they were alerted before the police arrived. These concerns deserve a thorough and transparent investigation.
Tonight, I am left facing a heartbreaking decision, Do we keep our doors open and risk our lives, or do we shut down the business we have worked so hard to build because I don’t serve Halal food.
No family should ever have to choose between their livelihood and their safety. No one should have to live in fear in their own place of work.
I am angry. I am heartbroken. I am frightened for my family’s safety.
I am calling on the @metpoliceuk to take these threats seriously, investigate tonight’s attack thoroughly, and ensure that my family is protected.
Please share this post. Let our voices be heard. We should not have to wait for someone to lose their life before our safety is taken seriously.
Enough IS Enough.

Irish court strike delays free-speech trial 🇮🇪
Hugh Fagan plans to keep sitting quietly in the centre of Wexford with his signs until his new court date, scheduled for May 10, 2027.
I'm in Wexford, Ireland, where I spent the day in a courtroom waiting for the matter of Hugh Fagan to be heard. It wasn't.
Hugh is a young man who runs a live version of Twitter. He doesn't just tweet on his phone — he prints out signs, sets them up around himself and sits in the centre of the city.
For some reason, the police don't like that very much, even though I haven't seen anything threatening, profane or obscene in his placards. I think they just don't like him having certain opinions.
Today was supposed to be his trial. But a strike, or work-to-rule, is going on in the Irish courts. Things didn't start until 10:30 a.m., and by the time the judge reached Hugh's matter, there wasn't enough time left in the day. We spent the day hanging out, really.
The new date is May 10. I'll be back, and so will Hugh.
Between now and then, he has let it be known that he will keep sitting in a public place in the centre of town, quietly, with his messages. People can come up and talk to him, heckle him and haggle all they like.
In his mind, he's committing no criminal act. I share that view. I think this is another example of censorship, which I regret to report is on the rise in Ireland and around the world.
That's why I'll be back in May. Irish people should see what's happening to their country, a country built, in my view, on freedom of speech. Think of the Irish troublemakers and poets: Yeats, James Joyce, Oscar Wilde. Think of modern rock stars like Sinéad O'Connor, U2, Dolores O'Riordan.
Half of being Irish is that fighting, rebellious spirit, isn't it?
So why are there courts and police cracking down on mild-mannered people who have the wrong opinion? It doesn't seem natural, but I'll let you decide that.
If you'd like to help me with my decision to help fight for free speech in Ireland, please chip in at IrishFreeSpeech.com. It's our project to crowdfund legal help for Kirk Loco, who is on trial in Bray, and for Hugh in Wexford. We haven't reached our goal yet — and there's another person we're helping, whom I haven't announced yet.
For some reason, this beautiful country has decided that its future lies in controlling what people say and think. I just think that's wrong.
He’s absolutely right. Another four years with an open border would have taken America beyond the point of no return and killed the country off. If you’re voting Democrat in the midterms, you’re voting for a party of communists and Muslims who hate America and all it stands for.
.@POTUS: "If I didn't win the Presidency, this country would be GONE. I really believe it. It couldn't have withstood." 🎯

I am happy to oblige the media and change my phraseology for Kemi Badenoch.
Instead of "scammer," which seems to trigger them, I am happy to call her a habitual and compulsive liar.
A con artist.
A confidence trickster.
She is a fraudster, a grifter, a charlatan, and a chancer.
She is a mountebank, a snake oil salesman, a fake, a phoney, a spiv, a flim-flam woman, and a merchant of deception.

Good summary.
Replying to @a_li_x54 @patcondell
Pat Condell has called the Palestinian cause a lie and form of Islamic jihad driven by Jew-hatred. He says their leaders exploit civilian suffering for propaganda and personal wealth, use people as human shields, reject peace deals, and divert aid to weapons. Any hardship is self-inflicted; he rejects claims of genocide or occupation and views Israel as the defensive side.

I have always respected Tommy Robinson for his work on the rape gangs - he gave evidence to our inquiry, and it was remarkable to hear his level of knowledge. It contributed massively to our findings.
Tommy was fair and balanced. I learnt a lot.
He has not been treated fairly by our establishment for many years, and today is the latest example of that.
To be honest, I believe it is a disgrace.
He was right on the rape gangs. The state was wrong.
They want to vilify him for that.
The media, the justice system, Labour, the Tories, Farage. It was made very clear to me when I was in Reform that I was not to praise Tommy Robinson publicly. I did regardless.
The entire establishment is against him.
My view is this - he has done more than any politician to uncover the rape gangs, and for that I thank him.
I’m reading so many disgusting comments today from people who hate Tommy Robinson, hoping he goes to prison, wishing ill on a man whose only crime was protecting his family. Some of you people are really sick.

Hard to watch.
Old Ukrainian men, dragged from their homes, workshops, farms, are given 3 days "training" and then sent to die.
Meanwhile, Zelensky and his crime syndicate rake in the billions. All paid for by you.

Ukraine and Russia had a deal to end the war six weeks after it started.
Initialed. Signed. Ready.
Ceasefire. Limited forces. Autonomy for Donbas. Crimea put off. Shelling stops.
Then Boris Johnson flew in.
He told Zelensky to walk away.
“This isn’t about your problems. It’s about weakening Russia. We’ll support you as long as it takes.”
Not a theory.
The Ukrainian negotiator who was in the room later said it himself.
The war could have stopped.
Instead they chose more of it.

The British state has functionally outlawed being an Englishman in public, framed as combatting anti social behaviour. Ironically, it almost guarantees a further withdrawal from social behaviour.
I note that there are no defences of:
-joie de vivre
-savoir faire
As such, we might now expect rehabilitative orders and sentences of up to 2 years for being outdoors, pint in hand, and attempting to have a chat with a stranger (being an Englishman).
You can all but guarantee these powers will be abused. On 4th October 2026 we saw abuse of similar in Gosport; Section 34 dispersal orders (created by the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014) gives the police and PCSOs the power to direct individuals to leave a designated area for up to 48 hours – designed for vagrants, rough sleepers and drunks/crackheads in public spaces. In Gosport, those powers were applied to the entirety of the area (population 82,000). Essentially giving police the power to move an entire town along, from their own residences.
We haven’t seen such an abuse of legislation beyond its intended purpose since the Public Health (Control of Disease) Act 1984 – designed to contain remote airport and hospital disease outbreaks – was used to place the entirety of Britain under house arrest (lockdown, of 2020).
Start with the beard and pyjamas crowd. Get them all out of our country. They’ve never belonged here and they never will.
