SALVATION MINISTRIES: CELEBRATING FAITH, VISION AND THE ADVANCEMENT OF GOD’S WORK Following several meetings and engagements in Abuja yesterday, I travelled to Lagos in the evening to continue with additional meetings. Early this morning, I journeyed from Lagos to Port Harcourt, Rivers State, to attend the dedication service for the newly completed Global Headquarters and Cathedral of Salvation Ministries, under the leadership of Senior Pastor David Ibiyeomie, a respected man of God and prominent Christian leader. The ceremony was a significant celebration of faith, worship and gratitude. I was especially struck by the vision, magnitude and architectural excellence of the new cathedral, which can accommodate more than 100,000 worshippers. This achievement represents a major milestone for the ministry and reflects the dedication, commitment and perseverance necessary to realise such an ambitious vision. I extend my heartfelt congratulations to Pastor David Ibiyeomie, his wife and the entire team on this outstanding accomplishment. I also commend the Salvation Ministries family for its steadfast commitment to spreading the Gospel of Christ. -PO

ENGAGING WITH THE UNITED NATIONS: UPHOLDING DEMOCRACY AND THE PEOPLE’S MANDATE After I met with the European Union Commission yesterday, 5th November 2026, I welcomed a United Nations delegation to the Obidient House in Abuja for a courtesy visit. Our discussions addressed pressing concerns facing Nigeria, including the current cost-of-living crisis, the well-being of our citizens, and the credibility of the upcoming elections. I also used the occasion to urge the international community to uphold Nigerians’ democratic right to choose their leaders peacefully in the next elections through a free, fair, and credible process that genuinely reflects the will of the people. The international community must remain steadfast in protecting this democratic principle. I appreciate the United Nations delegation, led by Leonardo Santos Simão, former Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Mozambique and currently the Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General for West Africa, as well as his team, for their visit and the productive exchange. A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

ENGAGEMENT WITH THE EUROPEAN COMMISSION: DEFENDING DEMOCRACY AND THE RIGHTS OF NIGERIANS Following my meeting with the British High Commissioner yesterday, 5th November 2026, I met with all Ambassadors of the European Union countries in Abuja on the same day. Our discussions centred on a number of issues, especially the cost of living and welfare of Nigerians, the state of governance in our country, and the forthcoming elections. I reiterated my appeal to the international community to support the democratic right of Nigerians to freely and fairly choose their leaders in a peaceful environment. The international community should stand with the Nigerian people in defending this fundamental right. The very essence of democracy is respect for the right of citizens to freely make their choices and determine who governs them. I thank the European Union Commission for the invitation and the opïportunity for this important engagement. A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

Today, November 5th, I had the honour of meeting with the new British High Commissioner to Nigeria and his team at the High Commissioner's Residence in Abuja. I congratulated him and the British people on the occasion of the birthday of His Majesty King Charles III. Our discussions covered a wide range of issues, particularly governance, the welfare of Nigerians, and the forthcoming elections. I emphasised that our appeal to the international community is not for support for any particular candidate or political party. It is for something far more fundamental: the protection of the Nigerian people's democratic right to freely choose their leaders through free, fair, transparent and credible elections. Democracy must be about the people, their choices and their future. I therefore encouraged the international community to continue standing with Nigerians, promoting accountability and insisting that the will of the people must prevail. A New Nigeria is POssible! -PO

Do not Undermine Democracy I have received with shock the news of an order by the Federal High Court in Abuja nullifying the emergence of the Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and all the actions he has taken. This is unsettling and surprising. I do not challenge the ruling of the court. The court of law is constituted to determine disputes according to the law. My concern is that three months before a general election, it is in the public interest to have certainty. It is not good to have too many uncertainties about candidates and parties a few weeks before a presidential election. This instability is obviously engineered by the ruling party, just as they have done against me in the Labour Party and continue to do so to close down civic space for a robust campaign. It is also from the same rulebook that manufactures violence against us in our campaigns. One mark of democracy is that at all times, it is voters and not courts that choose leaders. I trust in the judiciary. As a public officer, I have shown deep respect for the judiciary. I appeal that we protect the integrity of democracy by not undermining the free and fair choice of candidates. The sustenance of democracy in Nigeria, in the midst of encroaching military rule in West Africa, should strengthen our resolve to protect opposition politics and not stamp out opposition parties. It is because of the importance of opposition to the sustenance of democracy that I have always promised that, as President, I will take a special interest in ensuring opposition parties are stable and thriving, and that opposition candidates are not persecuted out of electoral contests. This is a time to strengthen our democracy by allowing the opposition to thrive. A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

Celebrating the Flamingos I warmly congratulate Nigeria’s U-17 women’s football team, the Flamingos, on their remarkable performance at the ongoing FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in Morocco. They have demonstrated exceptional talent, resilience and determination throughout the tournament, making our nation proud. As they prepare to face Japan in the final, I want to assure them that Nigerians everywhere are firmly behind them. I encourage them to remain focused, confident and determined as they take this final step towards glory. The remarkable achievements of our young women are yet another testament to the immense potential of Nigerian youths. With the right leadership and an enabling environment, our young people can continue to excel and distinguish themselves on the global stage. Once again, congratulations to the Flamingos. Keep making Nigeria proud. The sky is your limit! A New Nigeria Is POssible. -PO

CROSS RIVER STATE: RESTORING TOURISM, REVIVING OUR PORTS AND LISTENING TO THE PEOPLE After my return from USA on Tuesday November 3rd evening, I held a meeting with Lagos State NDC candidates, and yesterday November 4th morning, I travelled to Calabar, Cross River State, in continuation of our series of town hall meetings and engagements across the country. In Calabar, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, and I led our Cross River State NDC candidates, party members and other supporters on a courtesy visit to His Eminence, Edidem Ekpo Okon Abasi Otu V, the Obong of Calabar. At the palace of the respected traditional ruler, we informed him of our visit and the town hall meeting. He generously shared his words of wisdom with us and offered prayers and blessings. At the town hall meeting, we had our usual interactive session, where participants expressed their concerns and asked questions about our plans for the Calabar Port, the restoration of Cross River State to its former status as a leading tourism destination, security, the economy and the general welfare of Nigerians when we are elected. In my remarks, I assured them of the commitment of Senator Kwankwaso and me to uniting and securing the country and immediately embarking on aggressive investments in critical areas of development, particularly education and healthcare, while pulling our people out of poverty. I also assured the teeming crowd of participants and supporters that, under our stewardship, the Calabar Port would become fully operational, alongside other ports across the Niger Delta. On tourism, I recalled with nostalgia how Calabar, Obudu and other destinations in Cross River State used to be preferred tourism destinations for Nigerians and even foreigners. Today, due to poor governance and inadequate attention, the state has lost much of its tourism value. I committed to restoring Cross River State to its pride of place, starting with my personal commitment, when elected President, to spending my holidays at its tourism destinations. I encouraged our members and supporters to be prepared to defend their votes on Election Day, especially in the face of continued hostility from the government. My sincere gratitude goes to our teeming supporters, party members, candidates and well-wishers who attended the town hall meeting. I thank the organisers and the good people of Cross River State for the successful programme and their warm hospitality. A New Nigeria is POssible, and Nigeria will be OK! -PO

IMO STATE: OUR CONVERSATIONS AND ENGAGEMENT WITH THE PEOPLE CONTINUE Our conversations and engagement with the people continued yesterday, 31st October 2026, as we journeyed from Yenagoa to Owerri, Imo State, for another edition of our ongoing town hall meeting series. Upon arrival, I began with a visit to one of the markets in Owerri, where I interacted with traders, buyers and other residents. Their stories and experiences offered yet another sobering reminder of how difficult life has become for ordinary Nigerians under the harsh economic policies of this administration. In my remarks at the town hall meeting, I reminded the good people of Imo State that, after more than three years in office, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has not considered it necessary to spend even one night in Imo State, despite spending over 260 days abroad. Meanwhile, his administration has accumulated enormous debts without delivering commensurate improvements in the lives of Nigerians. Our country is now ranked among the hungriest nations in the world, with over 140 million people living in multidimensional poverty. To compound this crisis, Nigeria remains one of the most terrorised countries in the world, while approximately 18 million children are out of school. I reassured the people of Imo State that all hope is not lost. Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso and I are committed to securing and uniting our country, making massive investments in critical sectors such as health and education, and lifting millions of Nigerians out of poverty. Among the leading contenders, we believe we possess the experience, competence, capacity, commitment and readiness required to undertake the difficult but necessary task of turning Nigeria around. During the interactive session, questions were also raised about the protection of our votes. I encouraged our people to come out in their numbers, exercise their democratic rights and, more importantly, remain vigilant and stay with their votes until the final results are declared. I sincerely thank our teeming supporters, party candidates, party members, organisers and, most importantly, the good people of Imo State for their warmth, enthusiasm and overwhelming support. The journey to a new Nigeria is a collective responsibility. Together, we can build a country that works for everyone. A New Nigeria is POssible, and Nigeria will be OK! -PO

BAYELSA STATE: WARM CONGRATULATIONS TO SENATOR HENRY SERIAKE DICKSON Yesterday, 30th October 2026, I travelled from Enugu to Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, to attend the homecoming ceremony honouring my dear brother and our Party’s National Leader, His Excellency, Senator Henry Seriake Dickson, while continuing our engagement with the people. During the grand event, I reminded the good people of Bayelsa State that, after more than three years in office, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has not considered it appropriate to spend even one night in Bayelsa State, despite spending over 260 days abroad. I assured our numerous supporters and the people of Bayelsa State that this will not happen under my leadership. I will visit Bayelsa to hear directly from our people and respond to their concerns. In Bayelsa, I pledged that we would begin efforts to upgrade ports throughout the Niger Delta, including those in Warri, Port Harcourt, and Calabar. We will also begin construction of the long-delayed Ibaka seaport in Akwa Ibom State and establish a new port in Bayelsa State to serve our riverine communities and the broader Niger Delta more effectively. I reaffirmed our commitment to unite and secure the country, fight corruption, and make substantial investments in healthcare and education while lifting our people out of poverty. The visit concluded with my joining Senator Seriake Dickson, for a traditional canoe war game and boat regatta in his hometown of Toru-Orua, Sagbama Local Government Area. I congratulate my dear brother, Senator Henry Seriake Dickson, on his successful return home. I appreciate our party’s national and state leadership, members as well as the good people of Bayelsa for good organisation, warm reception and successful event. A New Nigeria is POssible, and Nigeria will be OK!. -PO
