Ponybooru would like to clear up some incorrect information regarding the situation behind missing.horse First and foremost, AnonTheAnon and Sam Hyde had no real involvement in the campaign. I've asked the creator to speak on terms of anonymity, this is what was said:

As it turns out, this campaign mostly pays homage to Sam Hyde / MDE while sharing a lot of the style involved in those productions. This was done as an entry into a film festival.

Our community has identified a potential scam involving Sam Hyde. Memes aside, the website may in fact be a ploy to raise money for Sam Hyde. We cannot in good faith continue to run free ads for a project where we cannot confirm the association to Sam Hyde.

Same Hyde has been confirmed to be involved, however the ad campaign runner hasn't made any money off the project thus far. And to add to that, he hasn't given Sam Hyde any either. More to come later.

Took a while, after consultancy by several experts within FSFE the conclusion remains that the Blender license FAQ is correct. That means that Blender Python scripts need to be shared under GPL (compliant) licenses. Just like the source code, it's what keeps Blender Free.
