Replying to @peteflorence
@peteflorence, co-founder and CEO of Radical portfolio company @GeneralistAI, is joining our 2026 AI Founders Masterclass.
Generalist is a frontier AI company building general intelligence for the physical world. Prior to starting Generalist, Pete was a Senior Research Scientist at Google DeepMind and helped develop embodied AI systems including PaLM-E and RT-2. He completed his PhD at MIT in Russ Tedrake's lab.
In this Masterclass session, Pete will share what he's learned founding and scaling Generalist, from building a physical data engine to training robot models on real-world interaction at scale, along with his broader view on where robotics is headed.
Masterclass applications close October 9. Apply here: radical.vc/masterclass/
Congratulations to World Labs Co-Founder and Radical Scientific Partner @drfeifei and the entire World Labs team! @AMD 🤝 @theworldlabs
Congratulations @drfeifei and the @theworldlabs team! Very proud to have been on this journey with you since (before) the beginning.
Radical Ventures is excited to announce our lead investment in @_Mantic_AI's $25M seed round. In this week's #RadicalReads, Radical Partners Rich Kotite and Aaron Rosenberg explain how Mantic built AI forecasting systems that outperform the best human professionals: radical.vc/articles/the-era-…
Our Compute Cohort is a program built to accelerate early growth for technical AI founders. It brings together up to $350K in Google Cloud credits across the first two years in the Google for Startups Cloud Program, mentorship from the Radical team, and complementary legal support for incorporating and operating in the US or Canada.
Thanks to @GoogleStartups, @FenwickWest and @Osler_Law for their partnership.
If you're an early-stage technical founder building in AI and ready to move faster, apply here by October 9: radical.vc/masterclass/
If you're an early-stage technical founder building in AI who could benefit from these resources, we encourage you to apply here by October 9: radical.vc/masterclass
Hedge funds are already using Mantic to anticipate market-moving events in geopolitics, macro, and business. Fortune 500 teams are using it to inform decisions around M&A and product launches.
We're proud to share that Radical Ventures led @_Mantic_AI's recent $25M round.
Mantic builds AI forecasting for people who have to make decisions under uncertainty. This summer, it beat all 676 human participants in the Metaculus Cup, a tournament where forecasters predict real-world events like elections and geopolitics, including professional forecasters, and it also outperformed the frontier models entered by the organizers.
In this week’s #RadicalReads, Radical Co-founder and Managing Partner @JordanJacobs10 introduces the Radical Breakouts Fund, the largest venture capital fund in Canadian history. The fund backs global AI scale-ups on a path to becoming the next trillion-dollar businesses: radical.vc/articles/introduc…
Congratulations to Radical Ventures portfolio company @CrusoeAI on the close of their Series F at a $30B+ valuation. The round will enable them to keep building out its vertically-integrated AI infrastructure. We’ve been proud backers of @ChaseLochmiller and the Crusoe team, and we’re excited to continue supporting them as they scale AI infrastructure for the world’s most ambitious builders. crusoe.ai/resources/newsroom…
A new coalition launched this week aims to solve one of AI infrastructure's hardest problems, growing data center capacity without straining the grid or the communities around it.
@Google, @nvidia and Radical Ventures portfolio company @EmeraldAi_ launched the AI Energy Management Alliance, joined by 20+ companies including @AnthropicAI and major utilities and power producers. The premise is that data centers which flex their power use at peak times get faster grid connections in exchange. Google's already committed 1 gigawatt of reducible demand.
It's a sign that flexibility, not just scale, is becoming a core part of how the industry plans to grow.
